Some leaks have indicated that there will be a fan in the dock. I would say that this sketch corroborates that, but, like, look at it. It's not exactly rich in information.

Guys! thanks to my uncle who works at Nintendo I was able to see the new Mario that is going to be released on Switch 2, here is a recreation.

Nintendo had better provide much better padding inside of the dock this go around, I really dislike the slight scratches on the edges of my screen from docking/undocking it. Since we're on the dock subject, put a fucking Ethernet port on the damn base model this time too. I wish we had a kindergarten drawing of the back side of the dock so I could see if one is there, although that might be out of the artists capabilities regardless of the Ethernet port being there or not lol.

The hardware of the Switch 2 won’t be interesting. The dock won’t be interesting. The only thing that will make Switch 2 appealing will be amazing Nintendo games like the imminent next 3D Mario, since that studio hasn’t put out a full game since October 2017 (yes, I’m aware of the side game, Bowser’s Fury). And amazing new features, like if they did Game sharing/ drop-in online co-op via streaming, or fixed their netcode and used dedicated servers for all their online products.

Yep. It’ll be like the PS1 to the PS2, just basic/ expected improvements that make everything noticeably better, but nothing revolutionary. It doesn’t need to be anything more. The follow-up to Mario Odyssey and Mario Kart 8 need to hit and hit hard, and they’ll sell 20+ million.

It’ll be a super-powered Switch with must faster loading and storage, and hopefully better online. Beyond that, the games just need to continue to be amazing. And justify what will surely be a $399+ product.

Sick "leaked" sketch, lmao. I was expecting something that, I dunno, looked better or at least had a bit more detail. Looking at that it doesn't look much different than the Switch aside from the angled part of the dock.
