Legend of Zelda live action movie casting revealed

I expected a bit more of an elfish, effeminate, otherworldy vibe from both. I guess the boy has it in some other pictures with those crazy pale eyes. Zelda looks a little tomboyish, but this is out of costume or whatever. I guess it's fine. I think going with kids was the right call.

exactly why I think its good casting.

But if you want references, Benjamin played that kid in the Haunting of Bly Manor and Bo did the voice for the young princess in FF Kingslaive
I kind of gave up hope for this film as soon as I heard it was live action. But hoping for the best!

She's 21 years old.

Looks like they'd fit the roles. I got my hopes up that they actually casted kids but I guess not. I feel like Link and Zelda should look more or less like they do in the first game.

I'm still skeptical about the movie but the casting seems fine otherwise.

He's 16, she's 21. Totally fine.

She really looks the part, he would need some work. They are both brits which makes sense too.

They could have quite easily have gone for the animated route like the recent Mario movie, or even made this movie 20-25 years ago, live action mixed in with some Jim Henson created creatures....Can't believe it's taken them 40 plus years just to make a movie out of this...

Holy crap the Son of a Critch guy got this? You non-Maritimers probably have never heard of it, but really good, really funny show that touches the heart! Check it out if you want to see him acting, and check it out anyways.

Using No names makes it more about the story than the actors so good.

Cast Tom Cruise as Gannon.
Definitely, I will never forget how Gerard Butler turned Phantom of the Opera into a shitshow, or Russel Crowe butchered Les Miserables (Hugh Jackman wasn't that great either).

Butler as the Phantom was awful. Crowe doesn't sing that much.
