My main thought was that I didn't get what the big deal was. CCS made pretty much the same "trust me, XXX is town" read in Pop and even suggested we'd lynch him there too (less serious as we were close to/in LyLo). He was ordinary town. Acohrs seemed to just play along and I didn't read it either way.

Sophia, that quote was not meant for that post, stupid multitasking Kyan is reading and quoting and writing posts all at the same time and that is what he gets, a mixup of things. But yes, the book of Sophia and acohrs:
I have proof which I am barred from posting or disclosing. If that doesn't satisfy you, you can lynch me and prove that I'm town (and hand the game to scum as you do...)
Zelda Fact of the Day #6: Did you know that Twilight Princess' art style is a direct response to the criticisms of Wind Waker's art style? Or that Skyward Sword was a direct response to critics saying Twilight Princess was too 'dark and realistic'? Now you know!
I really don't know what to think of this voting situation we have. My gut + the dead air tells me CCS might be town as this reminds me of Mini Mafia day 2. But there are so many other people who are question marks, too.
Is Sophia a null to you? I didn't like how she mostly stayed quiet regarding me and then immediately jumped onto your analysis. Felt more interested in the agenda than actually finding scum.

This interaction is interesting from a W/W perspective. It's a little weird to parrot a mate's line like that and in my experience scummies often copy plays from townies.
So I am probably not going to be around for day end so I'll have to leave my vote now.
VOTE: CCS
I'm not entirely satisfied with this choice but the fact that we are back here again goes to show that this will just be a distraction if we don't finish it and move on.
Sophia is kinda giving me bad vibes, iv played with her in a whole bunch of games, and this one feels offputtingly differant.
also Absolut and Magnumboy feel off, kinda like non-presences, however that could likely be down to me just not paying much attention to them earlier, will likely go back through the thread to get a better read of them.
I'm kinda tunneling on Sophia rn, but I feel like I'm onto something. Reminds me of scum I've played with in the past. More interested in doubting than figuring stuff out and generally not that proactive. Haven't found anything that really stands out from town!Sophia tho yet.
She leaves her mark on the game. She follows multiple lines of thought, backs them up with quotes, arguments and theories. She shares her opinion on things willingly. She shows effort. I do not see her trying to lead the discussion towards some end. The last bit of course is both a good and a bad thing. I do not get the feeling that she is trying to lead the discussion in a scummy way, but also I am disappointed that the effort she shows with her thoughts towards others does not extend all the way to voting. I am bit worried about the fact that she seems to be leaving some room for herself when it comes to committing to a vote.
At the very high risk of sounding sheepy, I am going to
Vote: melonrabbit
for reasons I have stated (and echoed) previously. The cabot tunnel and the early survey that went nowhere except distraction chief amongst them. I will try to be on mobile, but I do not know how long we will be.

Sorry for highlighting typos, but I didn't quite get what it was supposed to say.
My closest guess is:
My vote could go for Acohrs however I am not convinced Acohrs is scum, I starting to believe that Acohrs wants people voting for him and is possibly a neutral.
Kinda interesting that we're on the precipice of a CCS lynch despite all the early opposition to one in D2. I strongly dislike his play though so I'm not entirely opposed to one. My main concern is a lot of people will argue it was a policy lynch if he flips town and that could muddy any insight to gain from the votes. Plus town could very well find themselves taking a three person hit by D3 which isn't a great position to be in with the info we'll have.
Part of the issue Stan is that you've not shared much analysis and mostly just views.
Like is there more to the bolded?

yeah, i always play mafia much more with my gut than with my logic, but i def have taken that much to far this game.
talking about sophia specifically, irritatingly no there hasnt been anymore to that feling, frustrating given that i have been paying more mind to her posts and still havnt gotten more to push my ideas either way.
so like i have this idea for a short film, its about a princess mantis (one of those adorable pink ones) whose family is massacred in a coup, but she survives and goes on this whole bloody whirlwind of revenge, eventually violently retaking her throne, only to ascend it a more vicious tyrant than the usurper she killed. like it has this whole mesage of how violence only begets more vio-
y'know what, it doesn't matter
It meant that I could see myself voting for acohrs but I wasn't fully convinced that acohrs was scum and his antics were worrying to me. Started to feel he was actively trying to get people to lynch him and which is why I saw him as neutral (Tanner).

I could switch to magnum or ynnek as well, maybe melon, but honestly not sure if I am going to go out of my way to stop ccs today just so we can move on.

regardless mislynches are a fact of mafia life. scared money don't make money, and i really don't agree with the position that CCS is unlikely to be scum.
I can't remember. They're not allowed in main season games. It would actually be hilarious if CCS was one tho.
That being said, what you specifically quoted was more in response to Sorian calling me a third wheel, and me being frustrated with the antics at the end of Day 1.

I personally would put him closer to scum than town and have said so throughout this day phase. If he's town he is a purposefully bad teammate. My point was everyone voting for him will just argue that it was a necessary lynch and thus we will get no insight from the votes.
As for the assumption go back and look at the beginning of this day phase, the main idea put forward was someone else having a second kill ability. Fran and Sorian weren't pro-town deaths so assuming it wasn't a one shot kill there's no reason to think N2 will go any better.

but that lack of info there is offset by the gained complete info regarding the vote contention at days end yesterday. and this is the second person to bring up the complaint that a vote is too much of a no brainer. which i mean i guess i can see why it's not ideal, but sometimes you play the hand that's been dealt to you by others.
double kill every night would generally have some type of balance off set. or its an alternating night ability, etc etc. i'd but it at even odds we have only 1 death tonight vs 2 tbh.
