I want the option to change clothing, too. In OoT I would always wear the Goron Tunic in the endgame because it matches the Mirror Shield and the rubies on the Silver and Gold Gauntlets. In ST I generally played in Link's engineer uniform. In TP I wore the standard outfit though, because wearing the aquatic tunic around would have just looked bizarre, and the Magic Armour obviously ate all your Rupees.
I just want options that you can also plausibly wear in any situation.
Couple things I disagree with in the GameXplain analysis concerning the sword. I think right handed Link indicates the option for motion controls and not that it's the same Link from SS. Otherwise you could argue it's connected to TP as well. Also, the artwork from LOZ shows Link holding the SHEATH with his right hand, meaning he draws it with his left.
Ok, I have a theory on how the inventory system could work in this game.
In the new video, all the equipment that Link carry are visible; quiver, bow, sword, and shield, whereas in past games you can only see the sword and shield, this lead me to believe that Link will
have a limited carrying capacity. I think Epona will act as your inventory/base camp/ possible save point, because of the equipment and gears she carry in the video. For example, when you
arrive at village you can stock up on items and store it on Epona before taking of to a dungeon. Once you arrive, you have to decide on what item to take with you into the dungeon, so you have
to chose carefully. If the inventory mechanic work this way I think this will give the game a real sense of adventure where you have prepare before departing on a quest. I also think that it will add a
much needed difficulty to the dungeons since you are only allow to carry a certain amount of items.

Then again, I also wonder if the game time is simply linked to the system's internal clock. I don't think Game Explain mentioned this possibility at all: that clock might function both as a measure of in-world time as well as real-world time so you don't lose track of it.
While I really, really like that idea my only worry is that if in-game events were tied to the time of day it would not work too well for a lot of people. It would basically be Pokemon Crystal's time system but in Zelda.

I thought it was implied. What other connection could there be? Dominant hand isn't geneticPretty sure the hand thing was a joke. As for the SS link; he never said it was the same one--just that it could be connected story-wise.
As for sword motion controls; that'd be really annoying if you have to switch controllers constantly.

A real-time Zelda game could work. But it'd have to be an entirely different game than this one.
The idea could work well on a portable system
But on the flip side, imagine if events aren't as tied to the game's internal clock, but rather have something more akin to Animal Crossing: New Leaf, or simply have all shops with night shifts. In that case, some people might get a real kick out of being a mysterious cloaked Link who roamsonly at night!
Or, there could be a hybrid between the two, with sleep lasting, for example, precisely 8 hours so that you can always sync the game's internal clock with real time by, in this example, sleeping a multiple of three times. This would also allow folks to act upon the "nighttime Link" idea above even if they're not actually real-life night owls.
Yeah, I wouldn't like this in Zelda at all. Just give us a day/night cycle and control over the time of day, maybe with finer detail. We've had it in the past.
My bad, I always thought it was more nurture than nature. But I am the only left hander in my family so it makes sense.Handedness is genetic.
"Handedness displays a complex inheritance pattern. For example, if both parents of a child are left-handed, there is a 26% chance of that child being left-handed."

How long is it? I need my fix of hype.I didnt think I would end up watching the entire gamexplain analysis video but I did
I agree that Midna was a far better character, but I think something a lot of people missed is that Fi's calculations are meant to be amusing with how she tends to estimate things at less than 100% for things that you know are 100%,
Fi actually made me laugh a few times with the absurdity of the things she said. I think one of them involved asking if a kikwi was Zelda and if you catch a fairy in the bug net she estimates the possibility that it's a new kind of insect.
My analysis indicates a 90% chance
that this is a Fairy. I calculate a 10%
chance that this is a rare or previously
undiscovered insect.
How long is it? I need my fix of hype.
Would be down for this.
I'd also like if he's a scout or patrol.
I hope Link actually is somewhat experienced at the start, with a position in society (whether lawful or outcast) that requires he already know some swordplay/horseback riding/scouting/whatever. We don't need to do the "total novice" story every single time.
Well in TP he already is adapt on survival skills and such, and in SS he was a shonen character(complete with becoming OP at the end of the game) so we havent had a regular average untrained link in a while if your counting just console zeldas ofcourse.
So you want Hyrule Warriors but mainline?Ehh, not really. In Twilight Princess Link was a farmer; he was still new to battle and whatnot. In Skyward Sword he was a new recruit. I basically want him to start already having a reputation for battle/adventuring skills/whatever. Not the boss or anything (that's out of character), and not someone who's already considered amazing at it, but someone with a little/intermediate skill that the community already relies on a bit for this stuff.
we're all betting on 720p but ofcourse would be ecstatic if it was 1080p
Im just wondering how the grass is gonig to hold up, most zeldas after N64 era held up their 30 or 60fps with few drops, but there are PS4 and XB1 games that struggles to keep consistent fps with alot of advanced grass and they typically arent as much as we're seeing.
So you want Hyrule Warriors but mainline?
This game for Wii-U = Mario Galaxy for Wii.
System seller.
Better looking than anything offered on the XB1/PS4.
720p60 I can dream.
So are you guys betting on 720p or 1080p? I assume 720 but I have been hearing people say 1080 so I'm curious as to what you think. Game seems too demanding for 1080 open world V Sync enabled.

All the official material is in 1080p. Nintendo's games that arent 1080p dont have that
AKA RagnarokX's analysis
They point out the white platform surrounded by pillars and think this is the tent icon on the map, but the tent icon is just past the trees and that white platform is much further in the distance.
I presume he's not wearing the green tunic on the basis that he'd be completely impossible to see amidst all the greenery.

Would really go against what aonuma said about matching and or beating hyrule warriors in the cutscene department. Im all for keeping expectations low but just because 1 thing happens doesnt mean the other wont. They will do both.
So is there a reason Nintendo has not released direct feed video of this video but let everyone speculate about how it really looks?
