I made of list of what I need to pick up still. I haven't really gotten in on the Series 2 stuff, so I'm really behind there. But from Series 1, I need Jay, Doc Brown, and Lloyd. I also need Green Arrow and Supergirl. May just buy the starter again, keep the bag, and sell the game for cheap.

So I decided to sell all my Lego Dimensions on Ebay. Think 120 is fair for The Starter kit, 3 level packs, 1 Team pack and 5 fun packs? 3 are unopened. My son doesn't play anymore and we are moving this year so I don't need more stuff.

Is there an up to date guide of which characters have which abilities and what levels those can be used in? Also, which sets unlock which worlds/levels/etc?
Amazon has the Batman Movie Story pack for preorder at 29.99. Don't know how long, unfortunately does not stack with their Prime discount but still cheaper than with msrp with discount so good for everyone.
I know they are getting this out for the movie but still kind of weird they don't have any of the next wave sets up for preorder anywhere. I want my Knight Rider set dammnit!

Booo...want my Prime discount. I found the Excalibur Batman at Target and I have a redcard so went ahead and preordered it. Knight Rider is at Gamestop though, ugh. I will just get that from Lego S@H then.

But more importantly, if you're invested into the game, start looking for the older stuff now because it will get harder and harder to find. The Simpsons stuff was awesome but the lack of voice work was a real bummer.
I would say it really depends on your interests. You have the flexibility to buy what it is that you're interested in. That said, if you're a fan of Portal 2 and Doctor Who, then they are worth picking up!
Yeah, it really sticks out like a sore thumb.

Guys if you live in the Mid West and the Western Coast check out your 99 Cent Stores. They have gotten some packs in at this crazy Price! Its all over reddit, They have found the Homer and Portal Level Packs, Ninjago Team Pack, Legolas, Bad Cop, Bart Simpson, Eris, Gimli, Gollum, Zane, Krusty and a few more. All at 99 Cents each!
Wish we had them here in PA. My local Gamestops sold out of some very quickly and never get the stock back in.

It's okay. It's an adaptation of the first movie, not original like the other "must haves" suggested in this thread. Much more reasonable length-wise than the first year's adaptations, though.
Just played through the whole thing for the first time. I enjoyed it for the most part. The vehicles are pretty cool builds and the character has a lot of abilities. The level locales were sized well and varied - good mix of open space and confined space. I'd never seen the movies but could tell the dialog was ripped straight from the original audio (and at times difficult to understand). My main gripe is the implementation of the disguise ability - you have to pick up the character from the portal and put it back down even if you're on the correct section in the first place. The final sequences are also a bit nonsensical. But this is Lego so I don't know what else I expected.

Sadly yes. I got Green Arrow off eBay, but Supergirl is CRAZY expensive. I wish there was info on if she is going to lose that garbage exclusivity at some point.

Looked on Amazon, Supergirl is being sold in a polybag, kind of strange. Does it come in a polybag in the starter pack, as well? But yeah, crazy expensive, $58-$70.

Marceline is an Adventure Time Fun Pack (available now). Excalibur Batman is Target exclusive (2/10), Knight Rider is Gamestop exclusive (2/10).
Damn, hate exclusives. I am sure I can get the Knight Rider one easily enough, but hopefully the Target exclusive isn't difficult to get a hold of.
I haven't played the level but there are a ton of abilities in the year 2 (Shard) content that are Ethan Hunt-exclusive. Planning to pick it up soon.

Yes, it is a polybag placed on a normal starter pack, just on an empty space at the right sude of the box. The supergirl image and info on the outside of the box is just a sticker that can be easily removed. That is what I have done, bought the stater pacj, removed the sticker and polybag, and resold the starter pack as a normal one, for more than I have paid for it!
If any of y'all are playing on PS4 Pro and happened to get into the new firmware beta, I would love to hear whether there's any improvements to the Adventure World framerates.
Things often drop to slideshow-level in 2P and if this bumps the framerate up to something reasonable, that's enough to justify a Pro purchase for me.

I'm trying to check all the 99-Cent Stores around me but so far no luck, if anyone happens across a Jurassic World Team Pack for $1 would they mind picking one up for me? I'm in SoCal, don't even care about the box if that would make shipping the bags in an envelope easier or cheaper. I've still got 2 more stores to check but I don't feel optimistic and it's the only "world" I'm missing from Wave 1 ):

Nope, I'm waiting for the same reason. (I played about half of The LEGO Movie Game before seeing the movie, before realizing how awesome it was and then quickly bought tickets to the movie instead!)

We *finally* started playing this after owning it a few months.
The Ninjago level was fucking terrible. Just awful. After a couple gamebreaking bugs that required full restarts we finally managed through it, but the design is just terrible and un-fun. Really hoping everything else is better.
Also, I really don't like how all the puzzles in the game involve tapping characters in random corners.
Edit: also don't like how the damn pad won't turn off without unplugging it or powering down the console.
