Not certain as I used to get 10% vouchers but have not had anything for the last few issues.

Did a little more work on my Taito Station arcade, mostly on the contents but also got the escalator done. Modified from Grand Emporium;

Getting there with GF;

DM coming on nicely;

Taiko no Tatsujin;

Family shot;
As always, great job !
Are those actual lego parts for the Guitar Freaks machine ? The guitars I mean ?

Yes, Ill answer for him, there were 2 different cmf's that were guitar rocker minifigs and each came with a guitar. So there are actually 2 different versions of the guitar too :) pretty awesome stuff. I have several guitars as well as other lego instruments for a future Music/Instrument Shop Modular.

Picked up Doc Ock truck heist a few days ago, and for the first time ever in my 29 years of existence, LEGO sent me a wrong part. Instead of 4 grey "lightsaber tubes"(I have no idea what they're called) they sent me 3 of those and the tube piece for a flick-fire missile. Which this set has none of.

I'm not even the slightest bit upset considering how many sets i've bought over my lifetime and how this has never happened. Even though I've probably panicked at least 50 times over the years, scouring my box for a part thinking "Damnit! LEGO screwed me! They forgot to giv....oh there it is..."

The first "big" set I bought since returning to the fold 18 months ago was the Fire Brigade...and that's the only time I was missing a piece (1x2 grey jumper). I thought I was missing a window in the Simpsons house but I found it after the fact.

I'm certainly not the biggest spender in this thread, but one missing piece across probably $5,000+ worth of purchases demonstrates pretty amazing quality control.

What I bought: http://amzn.com/B00IPZBLTQ/

What I got:

What I thought: The legs are what I was hoping: they are just like official LEGO legs, actually all the parts are. The printing is so-so, passable on most of them, with some looking really good and a handfull (like Sinestro's feet printing) looking pretty amateurish.

I also received an extra head and a few other random bits. Anyone identify the head?

For $11 and change with free shipping... It came out about as good as I had hoped, no real complaints!

Should also note that they were shipped as you see here: not individually boxed. all the bags were put inside a small, yet very securely sealed, little Styrofoam box (oh, China...)

Lastly I just want to state that I don't ordinarily buy or support bootlegs, but when it's an item that I can't get by official means, I am flexible. These are the first bootleg LEGO I've ever taken a chance on. Not sure if I'll buy anymore, but it was a fun experiment.

I'll be honest though... these Spongebob ones are tempting since I missed out on that theme.

Looks totally worth it TBH. I may have to look into the various knock off sets from that company.

I have zero issues with Chinese versions.

Yeah it's very unfortunate :p but It may stil be worth the price, since I don't really care about that character

It's possible the pic is incorrect and it has the wrong body there. She is on Patrick's body for some reason.

Sneak peek of the front of my Taito Station. I've got 3 orders in on BL and another 3 to do so should be able to start the build in about 2 weeks I think.

I've gone for a 32x32 plate for the main building then n 8x32 for the side building which houses escalators. I'm not sure yet but it will either be hinged or just operate like a modular but there will be no wall between the large and small parts.

Oh wow that is really cool. I can't wait to see the finished project!

I've been eyeing these off lately, I mainly want the SDCC knockoff ones though, green lantern, green arrow, bizarro, shazam etc, anyone know of someone that sells them individually?

Thanks. Ah ah those are awesome. I'll try to get a hold of those punk CMFs on BL.

The girl rocker CMF still is one of my top fave CMFs ... I still want to get around to making a Lego Jem 80s style band after I'm done with grad school in a few months.

Once I'm dont with working on my thesis paper tonight I am building the captain america set. excited.

Stopped by my local LEGO store today and tried looking for my hedgehog keychain but the sale area was pretty bare.

They had R2, SSD & Death Star sets but no Falcon strangely enough. But the clerk assured me that most likely they'd be restocked for May anyways. It's funny as he mentioned that they haven't been stocked with the Falcon in a good while nor have I seen it in my shop the couple of times I've stopped by.

Anyways, I'll probably buy something small once double points starts up in a few days and get ready for May.

I've just bought the aqua batman and penguin set. I'm not fussed about bats but I love the look of penguin's duck boat.

I also got the Spiderman and doc ock bank truck heist. I did think I only wanted the doc ock minifig but then I realised spiderman and him would look great fighting on top of the truck. I stupidly bought doc ock by himself separately last week. Would anyone like to to buy him off for £10? It's what I paid plus postage so I'm not wanting to make any money off it.

New AT-AT is part of the summer wave in a couple months.

Glad to see so many OT sets (ISD, AT-AT, Mos Eisley, etc) in the upcoming summer wave.

From what I have heard, Hasbro has been told to significantly reduce their prequel offerings, and to discontinue the Clone Wars and EU lines. The focus, until Episode VII, is to be on OT and Rebels.

I would think that LEGO has been given a similar directive.

The SW summer wave is amazing. Meanwhile the winter SW is boring as hell. Not sure what I'm going to buy for Darth Revan next month. Anyone know how the new Sail Barge (#75020) is?

And correct me if I'm wrong, but havent past May the Fourth promos been slowing you to buy at least 1 SW set in your $75 order to get the minifig?

I put the UCS Bwing together for a third time over the weekend (I don't have space to store things so I just take them apart again). It's a really great model for the most part except that I'm not a big fan of the cockpit. And man, is it ever unstable on the stand. My 3 year old daughter knocked it over while I wasn't looking.

Now I'm tempted to get the UCS Xwing.

And help me if they ever make a new UCS Falcon.

It's "buy $75 worth of Star Wars LEGO" to get the fig.

I really love that set.

I put together the Malevolence a few weeks back and was quite fond it it too.

Based on all the recommendations here I picked up the Sith Interceptor/Infiltrator thing (the swoopy one) and so far it is amazing! The cockpit area is so well built! Can't wait to start on the wings.

Makes complete sense since the planned Star Wars movies will take place after the rebellion (OT and Rebels). Prequel stuff would just make it more confusing to consumers.

Hmm... we'll see if they actually enforce that in S@H this year. Last year I ordered the Quinjet and two CMFs to qualify for the Hoth Han Solo & poster.

Excellent choice! That ship has an outstanding build, looks great, super swooshable and has awesome exclusive fig in Darth Malgus.

Are there any rumours on what the sales (besides Revan bonus and the Sandcrawler going up) will be for the May weekend? The 50% B-wing was excellent, and while I don't expect something of that sort of awesome savings again, it'd be neat if there was something.

I don't think we've heard anything yet. But I'm crossing my fingers for an R2-D2 sale.

My best guess is the Red 5 X-Wing for a modest sale (or does this fall under the no sale price rule for exclusives?). I recall someone posting in this thread it wasn't selling great. Not badly like the B-Wing, but not great.

I'll ask a brick specialist next time I'm at a LEGO store how well they have been selling.

I would shit not only my pants, but everyone in the immediate vicinity's pants if either of those sets went on sale. Both have been in my "you should pick this up" queue for a while.

I decided to not get Palace Cinema, it will be around and I would need to figure out a way to shorten the roof. Instead I spent pretty much the same cash on something much more exciting :D

And tomorrow I'm getting Pet Shop and Curiosity Rover! Yay!

And Lego already shipped my Martian Manhunter even though he was the only non-PAB thing in the order. Yay 2!

You should get the Rover as soon as you can. It's already sold out in the US and no word if it will ever come back. It could be done for good.

Wait, what? I thought they had plans to make more as it sold out so quickly... I didn't even get a chance to order it :/

Speculation on the May 15th VIP exclusive set is picking up. Possibilities so far are the UCS Tumbler, the Fairground set, or the Mini.

Friend at a gamestop today hooked me up with the exclusive BIlbo Baggins for next week's LEGO Hobbit release since they got extras!

Is there a consensus on the best way to repair broken/snapped lego? I'm up at my parent's house taking all my old sets and putting them into boxes and bags, and some of the palm fronds from the old Pirate and Island sets have snapped :(
