Yeah, I remember reading recent articles from him about his opinion about his smoking and COPD. He was frank about it on twitter too, which hopefully inspired people too to quit smoking as well.

I only know Nimoy from Star Trek and science show narrations. I watched every episode of the original series long before TNG came out. I was a real Trek nut. Spock and Kirk were the favorite characters for my sister and I. He will be missed. PEACE.
