Let's Talk About PlayStation VR: List of Upcoming Titles

PSVR is going to launch with a ton of games. As a Vive owner I am super jealous but I know this is good for VR as a whole as some of these games will be making its way onto PC.

And yes I own a PS4 and I haven't decided on whether or not I want PSVR. Maybe I will get the NEO first.

???

Which games are you referring to making there way to PC?
PSVR Exclusive tagged games in the list are Sony published games and second parties.

Third Party games tagged are either already on PC or launching aside PC.

Are you referring to the Timed Exclusives?

Yes, PSVR timed exclusives like the Robinson game. That trailer was all CG but I like what they showed.

BattleZone: Rebellion is not exclusive. It's also coming to Rift.

PSVR looks very nice for the price, and the line up is solid, but I already picked my horse in this race (Oculus). Rez Infinite is breaking my damn heart though.

I have PSVR pre-ordered but I am worried games are going to run like shit compared to the Neo and I am going to need to buy the souped-up Playstation if I want a decent experience.

Don't worry. PSVR is built for PS4. The PS4 was even designed with enough foresight to be made for VR (stereo camera, trackable DS4 via the light bar, 120fps output).

Sony simply would not hype this up and take preorders before the Neo has even been announced in any shape or form, and then at the last minute drop the bomb that "nope, you really need this new $400 console as well to run it properly". It's simply not going to happen like that. Will Neo give better image quality in some titles? I'm sure it will, but PS4 is perfectly capable of running VR titles, and they have been doing so for a couple of years now since PSVR was revealed and people got hands on with it. Don't worry!

That's pretty reassuring, I am keeping my pre-order and very looking forward to experience all this first hand since I have never used VR before.

It's already on the list XD

Trust me games won't run like "shit" on a vanilla PS4. They won't even benefit games that already run 60FPS 1080P on PSVR. It'll only help devs that couldn't reach 60FPS or want to go native 90/120FPS. Neo is only a positive not a negative to vanilla PS4. You'll be fine.

After all the delays that recently hit, I'm suddenly way more excited for PSVR.

Let's DO this. Hopefully more real system-sellers aside from Rez and Rigs
and Summer Lesson
get announced at E3.

Is it just my imagination and ignorance or unawarenesss of PC titles, or does the PSVR lineup so far look way more like actual full games instead of tech demos and "X Simulator" titles? I'd totally admit if I'm wrong, but it really feels like it.

It's because people are unaware of this thread and all the people that don't like VR mislead others to believe that there aren't any full games and that it's all just tech demos but only looking at PSVR launch lineup you can see 5-6 full games that aren't short ass demos. People just have to be more open minded. Everything will change when retailers puts up their demo stations around the world this month. Things will get interesting...

After going through the actual list again: Wait there's an Hatsune Miku title coming? Dear lord, preorder worth it.

Wait, while thinking about that Bridge sim, does the PSVR helmet also allow for changing light colors, and would a PS4 be able to detect more than one PSVR (+2 moves) at the same time? We never saw same room VR experiences, did we?

I'm guessing it going to be online multiplayer rather than local.

Could have a LAN mode, but you're going to need multiple PS4s and PSVRs for that.

No, It's 1 PSVR per PS4.

1 PSVR per one console, but camera can track other things beside headset at the same time [for couch coop scenarios and such]

For example, Golem will be playable on HDTV with DS4, and then the girl in the game will posses a golem and then the player will be prompted to put Headset on the head and get "into the world" for a bit and wave with two move controllers. :)

The idea is just fantastic, but I'm having a hard time imagining how I'll get 2 other PSVR owning friends together, this seems like it's way better with friends than with strangers. Maybe just my problem tho.

I think this could be a great icebreaker for meeting randoms online in VR. I'm terrible for not talking in games, but I think this could be pretty fun, whether you play seriously or if you're all taking the piss it could be hilarious. VR is going to be so fun.

Also all the recent announcements show that Sony's focus on indies and ease of publishing content on the store really is going to be a massive boon to PSVR. A hell of a lot of stuff being announced for the Rift and Vive is also coming to PSVR too. The list of content is pretty huge now, even if there is a lot of random demo stuff. Going to take weeks to play around with all of this stuff. I just hope there's a good number of free trials available. Stuff for Gear VR feels overly expensive (£7.99) for stuff you know doesnt have gameplay longevity...

I'm actually pretty hyped for Holoball. Love that aesthetic.
Rigs, Rez, Eve Valkyrie, GT Sport, Tumble, Rush of Blood, and VEV are a must for me in the launch window as well.

Looking forward to actually having more people to play with in Eve Valkyrie.
There is actually a single player campaign in that game. Two modes, one that just lets you explore an area while you look for collectibles (audio logs, scrap), which I actually enjoy since it lets you take your time while you get familiar with an area. The other involves battles along with the story.

EDIT: Ahhhhh Battlezone and Headmaster as well! Almost forgot.
