Is good to know games like The Assembly are 25€.

Wondering to know some more prices... of games like Robinson and Eve valkyrie that provavly are gonna be 60$ just like RIGS... or some others like Here They Lie or Bound that looks that should be more like 30$ like the Assembly and Loading Human...

Upon further investigation I found that these are also 2016 titles:

OP updated to correctly display Game Quantity in each category, PSVR launch window is packed.

Thumper is by far my most anticipated PS VR game. I can't wait to play it (and it's only 20 bucks!)

I tried Eve Valkeryie at best buy today. The game was pretty fun, visuals were pretty good as well. At the beginning of the demo, before the action started, looking around the cockpit felt really cool. Once I got into the action though, i kinda forgot i was in VR. My focus was on the enemy ships I was shooting and i didn't really notice the effect of being in VR anymore, well other than the fact my entire field of view was the game, so i suppose there were less distractions at least.

Pretty excited to see what full game experiences people come up with for VR, but Eve wouldn't have sold me on VR if I were an average consumer who just strolled by and gave it a shot with not much knowledge of PSVR.

Is anybody starting to think that maybe there's too many games at launch now?

:-/

Like what happens after the first month?

Well content drought has certainly been a thing for the PC VR headsets outside of the occasional demo or early access title, so yeah it's def possible you'll see this with psvr too, but then again you guys have a pretty sweet launch lineup with RE7 dropping in Jan so I can't feel too sorry for you guys :p

I imagine a lot of those titles will get sales in a few months as well due to the glut of content that surely won't be snatched up by each psvr owner, so you can pad out your launch window accordingly.

Good point. Buy a couple of games per months and I'll be good for 6 months.

Launch Games
RIGS
VR Worlds

Month 2
Thumper
Psychonauts

Month 3
BattleZone
Assembly

ETC ETC ETC.

Like what happens after the first month?

Well after launch day 1 you have the "2016 Titles (35 confirmed titles)" which release in either November or December that include GTS so people will rave about that then in January you get RE7. You also have to take into account all TBD games that may come in the early months of 2017 and all the potential new announcements that could take place between now, GC,PGW,TGS and PSX that could be 2017 titles too.

The Assembly looks like a cool game. I hope they can make the PSVR launch window.

Have anyone heard good things about Eve V from the other VR machines? The concept seems great but I want to know how is the gameplay and community.

Job Simulator just updated their site, PSVR launch title. Boom system seller right there lol

Are you kidding me? This launch is insane.

Speaking of which, Eagle Flight is a confirmed launch title as per its segment on the E3 livecast.

Also, Trackmania Turbo is supposed to receive an update at some point to enable full PSVR functionality with the game.

That was a weird way to say it but I'll take it as confirmation, was using Ubi website as guide.

Funny story about this one, I erased it a while ago idk why, but it back on the list.

Thanks for the help.

Are there any roller coaster VR games announced? I remember the Oculus Rift tech demo was one of the very first VR games I ever played, and that's what got me interested in virtual reality to begin with.

I think there is one in Japan, could also be included in the demo disc everyone gets.

So, are there already any roomscale games announced for psvr?

Depends on your definition of room scale, games that you can completely move around in 360 no. Games you can move left or right in different directions, there are some.

Edit:
Here are the only games/experiences you can move around in:

The Walk

Farpoint (Trailer)

Job Simulator (Trailer)

PlayStation VR Worlds (Trailer)

So the games in which you use two move controllers and are able to walk around, how do you do that? I know Until Dawn: Rush of Blood and The Heist are on rail shooters so that won't be an issue. But for something like Job Simulator, are the 4 face buttons suppose to act like a stick to move around? Or do you just press one button to move forward and use your head to turn? I'm curious to see how this gets implemented since the Move doesn't have a stick, which is unfortunate.

Oh and someone really really needs to make a boxing game for PSVR using the Move controllers. I know the Move holds back PSVR blah blah blah. I'm sure something can be figured out to make it a decent experience. I really want a boxing game on this thing. My friends and I would go nuts for that.

Well their is slight movement tracked based on the position of the headset not analog movement per se. So example if you see the video on The Walk the camera bases your current position by following the headset. So games for example like PSVR Worlds in The London Heist you can crouch down the desk and move slightly left or right to the corner of the desk. The crouch is not made with any inputs, the camera just detects that the headset is lowering itself more than normal human proportions would be considered so in game you would just crouch, another example where this can be done is farpoint where you can lean around corners or crouch via headset tracking. Job Simulator is the same if you take a few steps to the sides you can reach the items in your cubicle. It's simple roomscale but it can be expanded upon. Just with The Walk we can see PSVR & Camera supports about 3.0m of distance roomscale.

Have a fun! Enjoy!

Technically, the building blocks for a first person boxing game using two Move controllers were already laid down on PS3 with Move Fitness.

To add to what others have said, the devs are reworking the entire game for PSVR. The environments will now be only 180 degrees in front of you instead of the normal 360 degree environments.

So there will be no need to move in that game as everything will be right in front of you.

For people who actually played a bunch, is job simulator a legit good and worthwhile 30$ game or just some physics shenanigans that are fun for one hour?

To be honest I'm not all that interested in Job Simulator. I only brought it up as a example although I may give it a shot if I don't find anything else interesting. But for future adventure games that should give you a big environment to move around in, I wonder how you'll control movement without a stick. I don't want VR games with Move to leave you in a stationary position(excluding FPS's that use the Aim controller). I stumbled across this video yesterday while looking for more VR stuff on youtube.

They're using both their hands and can freely walk around in this virtual world. I wonder what kind of method they're using without a stick and how comfortable that will be.

Well I hope they go back and explore this idea and expand on it. Just a simple boxing game against the AI and a online multi player mode would be great. If it has voice chat though I probably won't use it. The salt from losing against a shit talking opponent would be unbearable for me. It's bad enough losing in Street Fighter, I wonder how it would feel knowing you lost with your own bare hands and head movement.

Locomotion is done by pointing the wand in the direction you'd like to move, and holding a button to travel at a fixed speed. You seem to be able to adjust the direction of travel by adjusting your aim while moving. Additionally, you can perform snap rotation (15º-30º?) using other buttons on the controller. Finally, users are free to physically turn in place, and there are footprints drawn on the ground underneath them which show them which way to turn to face the Camera, in case they get turned around.

Don't forget The Fight!!

Here is some info on Battlezone campaign

As a player, you’ll experience explosive vehicle tank combat across all these different environments – and more – but what’s most exciting is that once you’ve completed the campaign, your next playthrough will be very different.

The campaign map where you pick missions is structured across a series of interlocking “hexes” (for all those older British readers, think “Blockbuster”!) that need to be completed to progress to the finale, and it’s up to you to forge a path through the campaign of your own choosing.

If you restart the campaign at any time, the hex map is re-generated procedurally, and dozens of environments, levels and mission types are blended together in a different combination. So each hex is now completely different from what it was before!

With each playthrough you’ll unlock more of the complete arsenal, increasing the pool of weapons and special equipment you’ll be offered as you progress.

This means that no two campaign playthroughs will be ever be the same as maps, missions and the weapons at your command change radically with each attempt.

Good Replayability right there.

I literally laughed out loud when I originally watched the PSVR "social VR" demo. I thought the 'point to move' system was a neat solution and also looks amusing.

Things like playing chopsticks on the piano and slapping one another, and the fact that the avatars talk when the user is speaking are genius.

I hope that this evolves into something they can release without losing too much of its lovable zaniness.

So it looks like PSVR will have the best collection of VR games on any platform which is awesome news.

My wallet is crying in anticipation.

Was RIGS shown at E3 this year? Seemed that was being hyped as one of Sony's bigger VR games, but I didn't notice anyone taking about it at this years show.
