X-Wing mission is a new game, not a patch to Battlefront.

On the store page for Battlefront, it reads:

STAR WARS™ Battlefront™: X-Wing VR Mission will immerse players in one of the most dreamt about Star Wars fantasies – piloting an X-wing in the far reaches of space. This all-new mission will be exclusive to PlayStation VR this holiday, and is free* for owners of STAR WARS™ Battlefront™.

* Requires Star Wars Battlefront for PS4™, PlayStation®VR, and PlayStation Camera (all sold separately)

huh, that's different than what they said during E3. I'm gonna guess whoever reported what I said misunderstood/misquoted?

Or it still could mean that it'll be standalone. But free if you own the main game.

Sorry, I've never heard anything saying it will be standalone. AFAIK it's free for Battlefront owners; whether it's a patch or a separate download doesn't really matter.

Seems like I mixed up the fact that they said it was "a very different game" to mean that it was a standalone game.

Rollercoaster Dreams confirmed for PSVR launch and trailer shown.

What an amazing and professional looking trailer...

It looks way too sterile and lifeless.

There are small clips of some of the recently confirmed Asian developed games in this promo video: https://youtu.be/0nrYWgDItXQ

nice catch, I can work with this.

Edit: Done

Dying: Reborn (Video) [Asian Release] [Region-Free]

Kill X VR (Video) [Asian Release] [Region-Free]

Mixip (Video) [Asian Release] [Region-Free]

Phantom World VR (Video) [Asian Release] [Region-Free]

Pixel Gear (Video) [Asian Release] [Region-Free]

Weeping Doll (Video) [Asian Release] [Region-Free]

Edit 2: Found it!

Boom!

Done,

The JP Blog post was removed, so maybe they announced it to early but either way, it's there.

It's awesome how SIE is supporting PSVR at launch with 10 Sony Exclusive games:

- Bound
- Driveclub VR
- Hustle Kings VR
- Modern Zombie Taxi Co.
- Playroom VR
- PSVR Worlds
- RIGS
- Super Stardust Ultra VR
- Tumble VR
- Until Dawn: RoB

Also worth noting that GTS, Here They Lie, Farpoint and Dreams will support PSVR when they launch too and that London Studio and Supermassive games are working on other PSVR titles.

Sony has proven to me that they want this thing to remain important years to come.

Has Dreams been confirmed? I assumed that it would support PSVR, but hadn't heard anything formal.

It would be an incredible showcase for VR; who knows what users would come up with? Watching some of the videos from MM I was amazed at how fluent the testers and artists are with twin Move controllers: there are some neat shortcuts like tapping the base of the controllers together to toggle the symmetry mode.

It hasn't been officially confirmed via blog post but the devs and yoshida have basically said that it will be supported via last weeks video

Dreams has been confirmed for PSVR. But I would say Dreams is very likely to be PSVR.

The team’s Alex Evans recently told Wired that the studio jokes about Dreams being the ‘defining’ VR videogame. “Let’s just say there are dev kits on our desks,” Evans said. “We haven’t actually focused on it yet, so I can’t announce VR in Dreams, but we joke that it could be the defining game in VR. When we’re feeling bold. I do think that sculpting and creating in VR is just the most empowering feeling. You’re in this world, immersed, and can create and change it. We’re got to try it.”

Add to that SCE’s Anton Mikhailov, who played a big role in the development of PlayStation VR, had joined the team.

On their streams they've been pretty upfront about it supporting VR, it kind of sounds like they've not yet decided if it will be supported at game's launch or in a later update.

In the special stream with @yosp they described how the interface feels and looks in VR mode, and that it feels like the way it should always be. Too bad they didn't show anything VR, but they teased a lot of interesting little details in other areas. Dreams will definitely support PSVR.

My wife and two kids had a chance to try PS4 VR at Best Buy yesterday. It was a winner. The experience was great. I noticed a little screen door effect but it did not detract too much from the experience. I played EVE: Valkyrie for about 10 minutes. I wasn't too impressed with the visuals. Everything seemed flat. Looking forward to coupling this with the PSNeo.

Is there a reason he is specially sitting at the very front of the space like that?
...wait, was he clone stamped out of the middle position??
It's a way to show that even if you are only at 60cm of the ps camera you can play with PSVR.

I've got Rez Infinite new-media withdrawal symptoms. I'd like to see the progress they've made uprezzing and VR-friendlying the HUD and of course Area X.

In the OP RIGS is 50$ where that price come from? In the EU Store is up to pre-oder for 60€

Also any info if Here They Lie will be priced like RIGS or more like The Assembly?

The price came from all major US outlets. Price in other regions may vary.
Then I'll buy it from the US store instead... 50$=44€<<<<60€ and there are a lot of game to look at. And if I buy a US PSN Card I can save up to 17€

Any info when the PSVR games are gonna be up to pre-order in the US store?

I can't find any archived footage, but Dr Richard Marks, speaking on stage at Gamesbeat 2016, stated the included demo disc will contain "5 minute nuggets" from a selection of PSVR games.

That's good. Will help me decide what to buy I guess.

True.

Although the main point of it seems to be to allow early adopters to showcase the system to friends and family. I think Sony are hoping for the Wii-effect. Getting people to try VR certainly seems to be by far the most effective way of convincing them of its merits.

It works for me. Instead of getting the evil eye from the wife when I buy this thing it will be more of faux reluctance (since she did seem to like it when she tried it at Best Buy).

I definitely plan to show it off to my friends and family as well.

There seems to be some confusion around Deus Ex and its PSVR support. Square Enix are giving Sony plenty of support with Final Fantasy and Tomb Raider both getting PSVR support. I fully expect Deus Ex to get the same support with PSVR. In fact I think it's practically a lock at this point.

Consider this:

*They said the game itself is getting four VR locations to explore. Including Adam Jensen's Apartment.
*We only need look at other titles coming from Square Enix to see their massive PSVR presence.

They will deliver and it will be glorious!
