Let's Talk About PlayStation VR: List of Upcoming Titles

It seems odd that they aren't doing this automatically - PSVR is most likely going to be the biggest vr platform, the game is already running on ps4 and they've already got a vr version made. They'd get a lot more potential customers for what appears to be very little work...
The problem is getting the performance up and that's going to take some effort.

Yeah I hadn't really considered that, still the unreal engine guys converted one of their 90 fps demos running on the recommended Rift hardware (GTX970?) to 60fps on the psvr with very little work (lower resolution & framerate pretty much halves the pixels required per second) and Adrift is running on unreal engine 4 I think.

Ya, but Adrift on PS4 currently runs sub 30 fps. That's going to take some work to get the existing port up to at least 60 fps.

So, I saw Trackmania Turbo in Walmart for $10 today. I picked it up, remembering that it's supposed to get a PSVR patch. Is the game any good? And, if anyone one wants it, check the cheap games bin at Walmart lol

I'll look into that just tried the demo, it's decent to say the least. I crashed the game too (by running out of the map and driving till I fell off the map)

Amazon cancelled my backorder of the old PS Camera and replaced it with the new one at no extra cost. It's up now for preorder at £45.

Battlezone is this week's featured game on the PlayStation blog. Some nice screens but no new info yet. They're teasing new info later this week; maybe we'll get a multiplayer reveal?

Now we know what's on the demo disk I've decided to wait and see for a lot of day 1 releases, but I've kept my Battlezone PSN pre-order. I feel like this is a labour of love for the devs.

I am envy. I would love to get a T300; I'm hoping to get a T150, but even that may be too expensive. Looks like a PS4 Pro may have to wait as well.

At first I thought we Europeans would be screwed with our disc containing just 8 demos, but then there is the last sentence.
PS Blog said:
The demo disc will also be available for download at PlayStation Store for free after PS VR launches.
Great, even better than on disc to be honest, perfectly fine for me. So everyone not having an US account should make one to get these goodies. :D

Whoa, if they do that for other regions, does Summer Lesson have a demo on the Japanese disc?

So for the longest time I figured that Harmonix Music VR would simply be a visualiser, and as such wasn't especially interested. Took a minute to watch the trailer and it looks awesome! There's drawing functionality as well as some pretty cool looking puppeteering.

Sangetsu, any info on genre? It looks like a puzzler or platformer.

It's a 3D Visualizer with some extra features.

Official Genre provided by PS Store: MUSIC/RHYTHM

Edit: Bad TGS conference, won't update thread any time soon till more info comes out.

I was interested in anywhereVR.
But I bet only limited amount of smartphones would be compatible.

I'm pretty sure that iPhone wouldn't be compatible /sigh
I know Sony has released a PS app on iOS and I use it, but that app acts like a browser and is no where near a screen transferring app.

On the other hand, smart phones that are able to remote play with PS4 will definitely be compatible.

But I hope I'm wrong with the iPhone incompatible part...

Picked up a PlayStation Move controller from eBay for $15. Got my PlayStation VR already pre order so I'm waiting for October 13th. I'm going to play the demos and whatever game excites me to most I'm going to go ahead and buy that one. I'm kind of leading towards rigs do to multiplayer support. & I think I'm might have fun with that. I have a quick question, I have the old PS camera for the PlayStation 4. Does that still works with the PlayStation VR for do I have to get the new Playstation camera?

The new and old cameras are exactly the same spec wise, only the design has changed.

Not sure if this has already been posted but the new Japanese PSVR games page seems to say the Danganronpa demo is PS+ exclusive :(

have you been a PS+ member with your JP account?? If not you're lucky and I'll give you a good advice.

If you try to upload a save to the cloud with that account, the playstation will grant you a free 24h trial of PS+. So you"ll be able to download it

1 more month to go! I hope they put some games up for pre-order on the US PSN store soon, since I'm getting most of my launch games there

Apologies if this has been answered, but are there any games releasing near launch that have a local MP component? I know the idea has been bandied about with one person in the headset and others on the TV, but I wasn't sure if anything has actually utilized it yet.

The demo would only work for that 24 hours though, no?

Yeah, me too. Don't want to have to switch discs while playing in VR.

Playroom TV and Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes does. I'm not sure about anything else.

So, the PSVR demo disc includes a demo of the Kitchen... demo?

Are they including the whole Kitchen demo or is it actually a demo of a demo?

Thanks. Debating on keeping my preorder and having games like that would help justify it. I've wanted to play Keep Talking for forever and I'm sure it would be a blast having that in a local MP environment with the headset.

No. you'll keep it forever. Isn't a monthly PS+ game. Is just a demo for PS+ users and once you redeem it is yours forever. Look at it as a discounted game only available for PS+ and you purchase it for 0¥

The Kitchen isn't a demo. is just a Teaser. Now we know that game teased is RE7. So the demo disc will include the full teaser

Thanks!

It's a little confusing because the trade-show press always referred to it as "the Kitchen demo". The whole thing is included on the VR Worlds disc and everything else on the VR demo disc is a demo of a larger title, available elsewhere, so this would be the one exception to that unless it's also a demo.

We officialy know of 5 games that support local co-op:

100ft Robot Golf - PSVR, 3 Controllers
Playroom VR - PSVR, 4 Controllers
Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes - PSVR, 1 TV
Tumblr VR - PSVR, 1 Controller
Headmaster - PSVR, Swappable Player Matches

I didn't want to make a new thread for this but I thought I heard the translator lady say during the TGS stream that they would accept more preorders one last time on September 24th. Did anyone else here that and if it's true is there anymore details about it?

BTW, with a demo disc like that I don't think I'll even buy a game right away. I'll just play around with the demo and see what I like. I was only thinking about getting Driveclub and Until Dawn at launch anyways and both are on there so it'll be cool to try it out before possibly buying either.

Yes, that's specific to Japan though. Retailers there will do one more round of reservations before launch.

Finally got to try PSVR today. The image quality is not the best, but I screen door is negligible. Was shocked how comfortable it is.
