That's kind of how I'm leaning as well. PSVR will be different and it's looking like PS4 Pro will be readily available so I might hold off on that until after Xmas. I can really only afford one at the moment

For launch all the talk of Rez infinite on the Giantbombcast and on on Austins & Patricks new show has made it my choice, i have no idea what Rez is other than seeing small sightings and demos years back, only thing i know is a musical element and it looks trippy and a bunch of colors so that is enough for me. I wish amplitude got some kind of vr update or component in the future. Also really liked all of what i have seen from Rigs so that might be a purchase as well, and HOLY CRAP 15 MORE DAYS AHHHHHHHHHHH.

Have you ever played Panzer Dragoon? Its like that except in the digital world.

At any rate, i'm just rolling with the demo disc for now. I mean dropping 500 bucks on the VR launch bundle, paired with other titles coming out near before or after...more than enough for me heh.

I have the headset preordered through GameStop but I have the updated PlayStation Camera preordered at Amazon and I just got a notification that it may not ship til December. A lot of good Move controllers and a headset are going to do me without the friggin camera...

I had the opportunity to speak to members of Secret Sorcery last week about the release date for Tethered. I was told the game is due to be completed for October, but they might skip day one to avoid getting lost in the madness and launch a week or two later.

Also, KO_OP tell me they will be revealing the launch details for GNOG next week.

I can't decide whether to keep my PSVR preorder or my PS4 Pro preorder, with a little over 2 weeks before this thing comes out. Kind of a tough decision.

I am fortunate enough to be able to buy both but if I had to choose it would be for PSVR. As others have said the VR experience is fundamentally different from what you already get so that would draw me in more than prettier graphics.

I ended up getting €150 in store credit and my PSN wallet wasn't exactly empty before. All those fine PS VR games to grab at a 22% discount, yummy, my body it's ready. XD

We know DRIVECLUB VR has another platinum vía Rushy and Wayward Sky had it's trophies released yesterday I think it's on uploadvr (no platinum)

You can bet that high price titles will have platinums while lower price titles will be PSN like games.

Not really, one is a upgraded console and one is a new piece of hardware.

The PS4 pro wont allow you to play anything you can't already play on a standard PS4 and until the pro is out and game updates are released for it, it will be tough to say what the real world benefit is. Obviously if you have a 4K TV you will get the most benefit from it, but other than that it's still a wait and see for most games.

If anyone is interested, I put up previews for the Oasis Games that are coming this year and early January (4 in total). I personally played Weeping Doll and Dying: Reborn and I liked the direction they are going. Dying: Reborn does use left stick movement, which could cause motion sickness, but didn't feel nauseous or anything when I played. Of course, I was told to move very slowly, and the room you are locked in isn't too big to begin with. I did feel my body wanted to lean forward, reminding me of those tunnels are carnivals with the platform suspended around a moving tube. It kind of felt like that.

The two shooters, Ace Banana and Pixel Gear are supposed to get online co-op patched in, so I wonder if we will start to see a lot of games gaining multiplayer.

Three of the four games were designed with Unity, while Weeping Doll is on Unreal 4. Because of that, there were so many small visual details that I appreciated.

I have a feeling this is to stop people cheating the system of one per address/re-selling pre-orders but that really sucks if you have a valid reason yeah assume support would be your best bet as may be able to change it without triggering the cancellation, otherwise go sit outside your old place all day

It can only be this surely? Simple but perfect.

Can't wait to get my hands on it once it arrives, been waiting since I was a child for vr so I'm hyped.

Only issue I am having is that I'm moving house 2 days after release, was given our notice from the landlord just over a month ago so as you can imagine it's gonna be hectic and expensive this month. As such I haven't even decided on what game to get with it. I'm gonna try all the demos of course but I don't know what game to get, especially since I'm already spending £400 on it all (solo set plus new camera and extra move) so I don't want to have to spend another £40 on top for a full priced game.

Batman is tempting me but at 2 hours long it's hard to justify £16 right away.

Damn my first world problems..
