Ok I tryed the PSVR myself yesterday, here my considerations.
It's my first VR experience.
The PSVR is incredibly comfortable. I played in the "panic room" Rush of Blood and I liked it a lot, the game is fun and well made, the graphic it's ok and the sensation of movement on the rails its incredible! (I had a sensation of dizziness when it started! Lot of fun tough!) And the fact that you can see your arms and legs (virtual arms and legs) make it more realistic.
The I played the VR World Ocean Descent here zero interaction, the graphic had a lot of aliasing and overall was not so interesting. Third game Driveclub VR and here it was the worse. Before starting the staff told me that the game usually is the one that causes most problem to people that play it so to tell them if I needed to stop it. And in the second lap I had this sensation of nausea (sickness), but I stayed strong to finish the demo the graphic was so and so, the game was playable with a steering wheel and pedals so it was fun to play, but I personally didnt like it so much. Then last game Battlezone. Here this game graphic its pretty stylized, still I liked it a lot, and the gameplay was the fastest of all the demoes, with a lot of movement in all the directions, but I never had a problem playing it, so I guess it was Driveclub VR the problem somehow
So I never expected to say that, but the best games I played were Rush of Blood and Battlezone And I have to say that in particular Rush of Blood is the most funny and immersive, and where the sense of scale is the most impressive and realistic.
To me the PSVR is sold.
And for my opinion, the MOVE controller is very important for the experience and I hope most of the game will support it where it makes sense (in Battlezone it was ok to play with the controller).
Also I think the games for PSVR must be made with this new technology in mind and not just try to take games and make them the same way for the PSVR.
Oh and probably Horror will be one of the best genre for this!
