Really enjoying Inquisition and it makes me want Mass Effect even more. I spent 1 hour and 20 minutes on this character because I felt Voice 2 is better and also happens to be very distinctive so I needed the looks to match the voice. Here's my gay porn star Inquisitor:

I wish i had got DA:I on PC so i could share pics. I try to make hideous characters forbtge lulz but i end up deleting and making sexy characters.

I think Przemek Karnowski is my new fav college bball player. I was watching the Iowa/Gonzaga game and hes a beast on defense. 7'1 and 288 lbs. you cant make him move.

Your character looks really nice. Makes me want to pick up DA:I and play it. I'll probably wait for a discount though. I also want to play the other previous games. But say... do you need to have played the previous ones to understand the storyline of Inquisition or you can just jump in the-intro-explains-it-all type as Assassin's Creed?

I played all of Origins and part of its expansion and couldn't take it anymore. And those are supposedly much better than Dragon Age 2, but I just thought they were tedious and dated, so I couldn't really see whatever was good about them. Somehow Origins didn't have a narrated dialogue wheel despite being two years newer than Mass Effect which had it. It's so dated and I don't feel lost in Inquisition at all.

Just pick some choices to import a world state from dragonagekeep.com and then you can play the events of the first two games as a custom narrated video on the site to tell you everything big that happened. Pretty neat.

I have a lot better pictures that I took way later in the game, but too lazy to find and upload them. :P Overall, I enjoyed Inquisition and never played the previous games in the series. Well, I played Origins for a few hours, but never continued with it. Inquisition made me want to go back and give those another try at some point, though.

So I'm finally home safe and sound after another 10 hour drive and I picked up a new shirt. Will share pics tomorrow.

Also, I got home and thanks to fellow gaffer ElectricBlanketFire, I now own a copy of the Metroid Prime Trilogy for free. :)

And now bed. :)
 
I kinda thought Inquisition mostly sucked. I don't think being a Quinari did anything for me, either. There were some good moments, of course, but it was all underwhelming.

I'm still kinda surprised (even when I shouldn't) at how easy is for some people to just stop talking to others.

I've always had this idea that friends should talk, hangout sometimes (not always, but at least talk randomly, especially when one contacts the other), care for each other, etc.

That you ignore people you don't want to talk or care about. So, ignoring someone that says "Hey, have a good day at work!"...or "Wanna grab something eat or a movie or whatever?" just because.

In general and somehow, is still my fault. I've never had many friends and it kinda took me like 15 years to meet and make this one. So I tend to care for others too much and always end disappointed when I'm not even worth a "Hi!". Heck (random example), last year on his birthday I even made him a cake and gave him a few gifts; which he didn't ate until 3 days later and texted..after not saying anything since, to literally say "Zup gay! Cake didn't tasted like pistachio at all..lol" (to which I replied with a disappointed smiley of sorts and then he said like "it wasn't bad, just tasted like vanilla").

Combined with how he prefers to talk and hangout with others (as much as telling me that, since I'm too boring and a disappointment as a gay man, because of my lack of dancing skills and lack of knowledge of gay places to hangout).

I could go on...and on with many examples. Guess my mistake was thinking the world of him, when in reality I'm just a random guy that hangout whenever he feels like. Since early February we have only talked once over text messages and nothing else.

Like how a few weeks ago when the Adventure Time movie was announced, I wanted to share my excitement with him by telling him about it, since he loves AT. But decided not to say anything, since I knew is not like he was going to reply and if he did, it would've been something like "OLD!!".

Oh well...guess I should be used to this, but still sucks. He is a great guy, just wish he was more...friendly, or something. Because I've seen how he is around other people and makes me wish he was at least a bit like that with me. [/end rant]

Dont make anyone a priority when youre just an option to them. It sounds like you could use some reciprocity in your friendship and thats understandable. If you really value your friendship explain what youre feeling. Being able to communicate makes relationships so much easier. Dont let him take you for granted. Resentment is going to poison the friendship before long anyways. Dont let anyone take you for granted.

He's just not that into you, and it's beneath you to waste time letting it go on. Either ask him about the situation directly or know that you guys didn't click from his perspective and you'll be fine finding a full friendship down the line. Disappointing, but you sound like you put good effort into it so you will succeed with those efforts somewhere else down the line.

While the whole motivational thing of facebook posts is annoying, my brother, who is going through some breakup at the moment, posted something very true: There are two things you don't have to chase, true friends and true love. Relationships take time and effort to build, but also, perhaps even more important, reciprocity.

Forgot to mention that I've talked about this with him. The way he sees it is that he has friends of years that days pass by and they don't talk and that he's not supposed to reply or say something every time. (Yet, he answers and talks to others through Facebook and WhatsApp, and when we went out, he was a good chunk of the time...texting on his phone).

Then add the fact, that he actually asked me a few times to text him less. Heck, earlier when we met I had this..thing were I wished him a good day and good time at work, every day. Maybe a little too much, but we started talking and wanted to show him that I cared.

So, he asked me to stop doing that because it made me sound desperate and like a psycho. Ok, fair enough. No more good morning texts. Then around a month later, he shows me a pic of a guy he was talking to (and that's another story!) and proceeded to talk about how he was falling in love with that guy, because he...texted him every day to wish him a good day and good time at work. :/


In some ways, is why I decided to also not text or contact him recently. I didn't wanted or expected much, even a simple no or a smiley when I texted him something would've been enough (Wanna drink/watch/play something? No?!, okay..maybe another day, take care! Yeah me too?!, thanks!!). He even said that he read most messages, but didn't replied because he didn't had to.


Then, there's a friend I've known since I was 13. We talk randomly, again I know and don't expect to talk to friends every minute. He's also the only person that noticed as far as to contact me wondering why didn't posted anything on Facebook in two weeks (a month now and still; only him). Two days later, he called and came by to talk and play games.

It was simple, yet meant much and felt nice.

But, yeah. Guess I'll just leave him be. He knows were I live, work, my dad, my dog, well... everything about me. If he can't or don't want to be bothered to say anything, I won't talk to him and therefore pressure him into doing so. It really sucks because he is a great guy and when I see pics of him around and smiling (like the ones he posted today), I get all this...nostalgia(?!) while wishing he just talked to me, or something. Not to feel like just an option or granted. :/

I want someone to chase me tbh. Only way I'll think they're not full of shit is if I'm throwing down an obstacle course and they bother to go for it. Feelings are fickle unless proven otherwise. Persistence is like the biggest aphrodisiac if I'm already on the fence.

But you're right, people tend to make their regard for us fairly clear through how they treat us. No one can maintain an act for very long. Where the deceit usually comes from is we'd prefer to think the best, for whatever reason or motive we have.

Good lord, what an asshole. He's completely dismissive of you.

It annoys me so much when people act like they are interested but simply don't have the time of day for you. My ex-boyfriend was kinda like this too, not replying to my texts and stuff, his reasoning being that he doesn't use his phone much, yet when we were together he was always on his phone texting other people.

It's not like I expect to be the center of someone's attention, but people like this keep you hooked just enough to make them feel better about themselves while they devote all their time and attention on everyone but you.

Seriously, I'd suggest just dropping this guy cold turkey and move on to something else.

Start chatting with someone on Grindr or something, it might not lead anywhere, but it will get your mind off this guy and help you realize there is better (or at least more) out there for you.
 
Id start looking for dates in adventure groups or other community activities. You could find someone on grindr but its pretty clear what most guys priorities are on there. Like groups like these http://www.gayoutdoors.org/

Dues are only $25 a year. This is a national group but big cities should have local ones.

Exactly, and in that way you are not really chasing them, they are coming to you, which is indeed a huge turn on if you were already into them.
