I had a funny Grindr night too. I'm not doing too well personally so I'm probably ultra sensitive but funny regardless:

1. Talking to some normal seeming dude who then confesses to stealing underwear. I was like from stores? Nah this dude said he stole from friends, locker rooms, so forth. First he said "hot guys" though, so I assumed hookups. But no, then he says he's 100% virgin. That's cool, and I know it's bad but I've always wanted to have someone's virginity under my belt but the underwear thing was kinda too much.

2. A really cute guy hits me up, we talking exchanging face pics, compliments. I made a really dumb joke that I didn't think through, he calls me stupid ("Stay pretty") so I don't respond. For like an hour or more. Then I'm like "damn don't be petty he's probably just kidding." Message him "I promise I'm smart (ish)" he says "hi I forgot our conversation" and that just sent me spiraling into a fit of rage (not really but it did piss me off) like who the fuck you think you is

3. This other dude messaging me and shit saying he wants to hook up whenever the snow ends. I really don't often hookup on Grindr but sometimes I'm like fuck it. I ask if this is a one time thing or a potential friends with benefits since I would like to have something steady but not serious since I'm graduating in May. He says maybe but he's talking to a girl and if that gets serious then no. I obviously don't care about him being bi but knowing he's "talking" to a girl but trying to sit on my dick is just not my jam.

So yeah I think I'm just gonna be celibate or die alone. The worst part of being gay for me is that it's so hard, at least where I live, to meet people outside of apps. The sole gay club in town kinda sucks for the most part and it just feels so limited compared to them lucky straights that can meet each other literally anywhere.

Speaking of dating apps I downloaded the new one called Bro. It was supposed to be just for straight guys i guess? But it's pretty much gay guys lol. There were only like a handful of people on it at first but ive watched guys jump in by the truckloads every day now. There is this one guy who is really close to me and he is SUPER CUTE but im like "no way I could message him"

I find it a bit funny. I remember someone making my eyes green and making me somewhat skinnier when I had a tumblr with my own pics but that one has been a long forgotten account. That reminds me I haven't checked my porn tumblr in a while.

I feel like I always hear people say stay off the apps but they are speaking from experience and also go back on the apps themselves. So which is it? Is it like a serious stay off warning, or like stay off but really just be prepared?

I turn 30 this year, and an older friend of mine (top) joked the other day, "So, are still going to be a bottom?" as if I had reached some sort of age limit on getting pounded. Maybe this is just my general anxiety with turning 30.

I've talked with old guys (Talking 50-60s) who still do it. Maybe they do it a bit less often because it may be a bit more exhausting but I think you got nothing to worry about babe. ;)

I can see how it'd be flattering or funny; but having your photos manipulated by some anonymous internet person would have to be violating to some extent, even - and possibly especially - in the case of ridiculous fetish work.

I'm still sort of morbidly curious as to how someone would go about retouching something of me. Though in that case, I probably just want the validation of being considered for it in the first place.
