I feel like Leon would be a much stronger candidate among the DOA waifus if they gave him a proper beard and some chest hair.
I'm at a loss as to how anyone can find Hayabusa attractive, at least in DOA5. They messed up on his face so badly. The actual mask is cute, though. I can't believe nobody's modded in an outfit with just the mask, gloves, boots and a fundoshi.
The End of Dreams has a short touching minigame in its "interrogation" scene, I guess?

You could try looking on craiglist.
I think that version of the game has a possible ending where you end up getting strangled though.
Since Rinse and Repeat ends with a depiction of drowning the guy you have to wash, that's actually a fairly faithful adaptation of the experience.
There are multiple possibilities really.

So between the announcement of Trails in the Sky the 3rd getting localized, and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend greenlit for season 2, it's seems to be the weekend of "Give Barrylocke nice things because he deserves it". Will anything else happen before Monday?!

Of those my favorite is The Way He Looks. It started as a short that got great word of mouth and then full movie with the same actors. So watching the entire process and the end result was really great.
The others are either good or fun to watch. GBF in some ways felt a bit a "gay versions of Mean Girls.
Outside Netflix, Were The World Mine, Make The Yuletide Gay, Pornography A Thriller;along many others I don't remember right now....and I recently watched 4th Man Out and really enjoyed.

Carol was great.
I like Fassbinder's gay films as well. Although if depressing and pessimistic films are not your cup of tea then maybe avoid.

Cried like a little bitch when I watched both the short, and the film. I loved this and would recommend it to anyone.
Another very strange but interesting film on sex and sexuality as a whole is Shortbus. (It's super X-rated though).
People have already mentioned my little list in the OP, but I'm just going to throw out Xavier Dolan's I Killed My Mother.
Oh, and Carol is now out on blu-ray, y'all should buy it and watch it and treasure it. (no, I'm not tired of stanning that film, it's great)
I couldn't get through it. The disconnect of seeing a Swedish queen, through the eyes of a Finnish creative team, speaking (bad) English ended up sapping any and all enjoyment out of it.
fake edit: the script was written by the Canadian playwright who wrote Tom at the Farm. What the fuck?
Sigh. They ruined all hope for a decent adaption of queen Kristina's life for a decade.
I'm disappointed that a PSP localization isn't happening - I'll be missing out. Guess I'll have to settle with Cold Steel II.

Don't forget that That Trails in the Sky is built on an engine that easily ran on computers when it was new 10 years ago, so they can run on toasters now. A computer that can handle this game is almost certainly in your home, even if Wine or a virtual machine is needed for a non Windows setup.
But I know a lot of people only play games like this on a portable sometimes, so if that's you I understand. Perhaps you can look up the scenes that tie into Cold Steel when its finished. I know theres a lot of plot threads that begin their roots in Trails in the Sky the 3rd.
Thank you for the answer, maybe my English is failing me, but I wasn't really talking about reasons to not idealize a partner, I was essentially talking about the fact that sometimes there is no much choice, because of where you live or many other reasons, so you either continue to dream about a possible love that could exists but it's difficult to reach or settle down to a person you don't instantly feel something for and that doesn't instantly have that something special. Personally I'm still in the camp of the people who search for the big love.

I can't fathom how some people can get upset over the possibility of swapping Link's gender in future games. I mean, he's barely a character and he's not the same across different games. I'd understand the the outrage if we were talking about swapping Lara Croft's gender, but Link?

Boys, on Netflix. It's subtitled but when I watched last year it really affected me and I rewatched so many times (which almost never happens). It's pretty snappy too, it's about 1:15 running time.
