Yeah, that speaks to internalized homophobia within the gay community. Here they usually say "masc only", but the meaning is the same. Really sad to see. I wish people were more open to treating people as individuals instead of items on amazon.

I wonder, do lesbians deal with a similar thing, like women who only want to date "feminine" women?

It's very possible to have had Zika without any symptoms. And when you have them they are incredibly mild, and they go away in a couple of days.

People greatly have exaggerated the Zika scare, you should only really worry if you are a pregnant woman.

I haven't seen the CDC's warning, but I imagine one of the concerns with hosting a huge international event in a country with Zika is that you run the risk of greatly spreading the virus around the world as people get bitten, infected, and then infect others back home. So even if there aren't a lot of pregnant or pre-pregnant women attending the Olympics, it could spread to many more populations (and pregnant woman) around the world after all is said and done.

Now that I think about it...if Zika were a little bit more deadly, hosting the Olympics in a country where there's a "quiet" and slow but deadly disease spreading around would almost be the perfect way of starting a pandemic and wiping out a lot of the human race.

Good thing Zika's not worse!

When you sorta love your three 12 hour shifts, back to back, at the ICU. And kinda wish you can go back for another day. And also can't comprehend all the learning, skills, confidence and experience you've absorbed the last 18 months all coming together. &#8234;#&#8206;woah

Not a destination wedding, it's only the two of us. Basically combining a vacation/honeymoon and getting quickie married while we're there.

That's absolutely heinous, but I guess it's as good a place as any to delve into a discussion regarding "types" and what people are attracted to. How do you distinguish between gay guys that are drawn and attracted to conventionally masculine guys vs gay guys that project self-hate and put down effeminate guys? Is there even a line or distinction? I'd like to think there is cause masculinity and femininity is a vibe and ...uh...aura I guess that extends beyond just physical looks (though looks are a huge aspect too.)

The one argument that pops in my head is that if someone endured social pressures and still came out as a gay man, he's attracted to men, so it'd make sense that he wouldn't feel drawn to guys that don't necessarily fit the gender norms or maybe tilt a bit more towards the feminine side. But, I feel like it's easy to take this as license to shoehorn guys into a box regarding how they're allowed to be and exclude anyone not "heteronormative."

2 cents? I keep going back and forth on this and don't know how to reach a satisfactory conclusion.

Thanks! I never felt more comfortable with what's in my capacity. I had a Patient pad unfortunately, but my preceptor and I knew it was going to happen. My preceptor was so good preparing me to potential outcomes of my pt. My patient was so close for cpr but mom said DNR, so we stopped.

I wish I wanted to say more, hard to text about.

I seriously hope that was sarcasm. The reason escorts end up getting HIV and any other STD's is because most clientele expect bareback and will often pay more for those that do so it's become a standard. Escorting is not safe plain and simple.
