of course there was our own Terrosious (?) and more members that had similar experiences, um im not sure what can be done but being more open with others helps a lot, maybe you could try talking with a therapistso you feel better when talking about this, the people around you should accept you no matter what.

now i dont know if im making sense ;p

Yep. We've had other people in this community who felt this way. There's someone whose username I'm blanking on, but she's DOWN's friend and described very similar things. We also have others who identify as demisexual (moi, to some degree) or asexual to varying degrees.

Everyone in my life doesn't care lol, my parents and family and friends have long understood that I'm a loner haha.

It's just hard to kind of want a boyfriend but not really, and I hate most people anyway, so I don't want to meet anyone lol. I just get lonely sometimes.

Oh good. 😌 But yeah, like I say above... It's hard to want to know people, but also not, and I don't know. I'll be alone forever and that's fine, but sometimes I feel a bit lonely sigh.

It's like my fave new show. And unless the second season is like unfathomably awful, it will probably go down as one of my favourite shows ever, up there with Lost and Hannibal and PoI.

I had more time to listen to these. It was all good, but some of it was good in a way that I probably wouldn't listen to much on my own (LSDXOXO felt like it had a lot going on for me). I think the felicita and Visionist ones were my favourites, my tastes seem to skew a bit ambient and both of those were pretty interesting.

Speaking of ambient and more industrial-ish sound design, this is one of my favourite examples of subtle menace. It manages to feel really powerful while also being really quiet.

This is cool, thanks! I really need to listen to more rap. It's so diverse that it's kind of hard to navigate, and my friend who generally has good taste in music for some reason tends to recommend the kind of rap that I hate.

OT: I finally listened to the new Blood Orange album and this dude is probably some kind of low-key genius (the motifs he draws from and the album itself are all extremely diverse, and it's all excellent). Also recently discovered Nite Jewel and she is great, too.

Blood Orange always releases amazing albums. Saw him live 2 weeks ago and he puts on an great performance.

I bet he would be great to see live, I'm jealous!

I need to listen to more dance-y music. I often find that my tastes there are kind of predictable, like it's almost always the more chill/after-party kind with a bit of a house vibe to it (Jacques Greene, George Fitzgerald, Shlohmo, etc).

Summer is the best. I'm gonna be so sad when its over. I won't be able to hike anymore =(

Thankfully I'll be spending at least 3 weeks of the fall/winter in some nice warm country.

There's no fun in being unable to go out because it's so hot. There's no fun in having to sleep with air conditioning. There's no fun in sweating just by walking to the supermarket. Fall can't come soon enough to be honest :x

I actually love swimming - but I don't like beaches :( And yes, I've been eating far too much ice cream and that's not a good thing by itself, lol. Summer will always be my least favourite season :mad:
