So idk if you guys remember but a week or two ago I complained about the guy I'm sorta dating and how little interest in me he expresses

Well naturally I got drunk last night and text him saying how sad it is now uninterested he seems (it's a long distance thing so WhatsApp is basically our main form of communication)

His reply this morning was just "you know how shit I am at texting though" and now I can't decide whether just to be passive and maybe guilt trip him or just go awf

LOL, that's an excuse I've heard more than once. It's funny how some of those people are shit at texting, but spend the entire day on their phones/Facebook/Twitter etc.

He just doesn't care enough. I mean, you can be passive aggressive and coerce him into texting you more, but in the end, you're only hurting yourself. And if you have to force someone into texting you/contacting you more often, what's the point if it's not honest?

As a recent victim of this kind of behaviour (and it wasn't even long distance) I'm going to say right now that you need to move - this guy is wasting your time. If you cared you'd contact... right? You'd be on his mind.

Anyone else love Simple and Clean as much as me? I randomly listened to it the other day for the first time in a while, and now I can't stop. Both the remix and the original version. I love Passion/Sanctuary but Simple and Clean is far more preferable to me.

I've never played KH but I still love it. Utada Hikaru is a goddess, I love her work on the Rebuild of Evangelion ending themes

I know I'm not the most frequent poster here (well, this thread or GAF, overall), but I think I've seen people post a Twitch or two in this thread. Always wanted to do a charity stream and am doing one at 11AM PST to raise money for The Trevor Project. Swing by if you'd like. I'll be playing Far Cry 4, Shadow of Mordor, and Alien: Isolation throughout the day.

I mean, I think anyone is justified in preferring Sanctuary, but the combination of nostalgia/melody/lyrics make Simple and Clean better for me.

Oh and I'm salivating at that Chris Pratt gif. Sweet jesus. Never once did I think he could be so hot when watching Parks before

I think 20 minutes is the average lifespan of Grindr on my phone. I download it, then start hating myself till I delete it. It just feels so scummy

Hey, it's no big deal, don't worry about it. I think almost every gay/bisexual guy experiences the same a couple of times a month, sometimes you may feel alone and download the apps, but then most guys who stay there qant hook-ups or "friendships" with benefits.

Aaaand there are also great guys, true, but they always erase the app a day after they obtain it. :( It's sad.

I erased my Tinder account as soon as I got a match because I was afraid, tbh. I was curious, but then I realized it wouldn't end up with anything but a one-night stand and I'm not prepared for that. I'm sure there are great guys there - even great guys that just want to have sex (these are not related) -, but I'm just not ready for that yet.

It's just a weird feeling I get because I can tell most people there want nothing but sex, and while I respect that, it makes me deeply uncomfortable because I've yet to have a sexual experience and I want it to be with someone who I'm comfortable with. I just need to get over this attitude I have towards sex.

This is exactly how I feel. Most dating apps are not exclusively about dating, but also about sex. Nothing wrong in that of course.

I mean, your mileage may vary and all that, but a regular ol' dating site like Okcupid or whatever is going to get you many more dates that are about meeting and getting to know a guy than all the gay hookup apps combined.

To treat gay dating as some impossible and offputting test of endurance is a bit naive when the experiences are based off Grindr interactions.
