ORAS rekindled my faith in the series, but it could just be that by virtue of being a remake of an actually good region it brings the rest of the game up with it. Some stupid missteps here and there, but still a better game than XY.

OTOH I'm also looking forward to Captain Toad so I don't know which one I'd want more if I had to choose.

As it's become increasingly apparent that I'm not exactly hot employment I finally caved and applied for Merchandising jobs, which I avoided previously because I'm too frail to lift the boxes and too acrophobic to go on stepladders.

I have fairly routine 'serial killer' dreams. Like one is stalking me in a deserted building, or I hook up with someone and then they strangle me in the middle of it :/ One time I was actually the serial killer and I had to cover my tracks while dealing with moral qualms in the back of my mind, that was weird.

It's better than insomnia, so eh. I rarely dream to begin with though.

I have those sorts of dreams often as well. One of my dreams actually involved me being chased by JonTron in a dilapidated building.

X and Y are really hurt by a lack of balancing for EXP share and the Kalos natives being out of focus in their own generation (both because of G1 pandering and the obscene variety of pokemon available, which for once is actually a problem). I feel like if they had rectified those two things that the game would have been a pretty solid installment.

Any artists in here? Need a recommendation on a good quality sketchbook for drawing. Preferably something on Amazon.

On the topic of dreams, most of my dreams either involve dinosaurs trying to kill me, or fulfilling dreams and being reunited with people I miss dearly. I prefer the dinosaurs. Less heartbreak when I wake up. I don't know about you guys, but my dreams are vivid enough that, no matter the ridiculousness of the subject matter, it seems real.

And iPhone does at least have the best compatibility. Never really bought anything from them ever since my ipod broke though. Made me angry that I couldn't unscrew the casing and replace the audio jack myself.

As someone who has been hurt by being positive this person I was crushing on was gay and finding out he was dating a girl, I don't assume anything about anyone unless they just up and say it.

Totally, I love, love LOVEEE men with gentle, nurturing personalities, I feel those are very difficult traits to find in men though, I had an eye doctor who was a total cutie and he was one of the gentlest, most caring doctors I've ever had the pleasure of visiting, had a soft touch and constantly asked me if I was ok, needless to say, I was smitten by the end of the appointment, whoever his girlfriend or wife is must be the luckiest woman in the world.

Eh, that's fair (same thing happened to me last spring, actually). I don't think there's much reason to doubt though. If he were hetero I imagine he would have raised objections to me giving him sexually suggestive (as in stripping to his underwear) art of a certain favorite character of his.

i basically never believe someone is gay until they refer to a boyfriend or partner as a 'he', no matter how many pride festivals they mention

Thanksgiving was a great success. Best batch of babyback ribs to date. Had about 16 guests, was pretty crazy. Ate too much sweet potato pie. I have a lot of exercise to do in the morning.

fuuuccck. laptop I bought has a large dead pixel in the upper right corner. Debating whether or not to deal with the hassle of sending it back and just using my old laptop that's basically falling apart.

Thing is that the box it came in is in another state (Ohio) since it was cheaper to ship it there and have my aunt bring it when she came up for the holiday. I don't think she has the know how to take it and send it back. Meaning I will have to wait until I go to her house in mid December. Hopefully that isn't a problem. Amazon at least places the return date at January 31st. Still a hassle. :(

Also, this are really going well with a guy online. Now I just need to both make it out to his city two hours away, and come out of the closet.

I don't anticipate a lot of negativity, but there's still a massive mental block stopping me. My anxiety stemming from other issues likely isn't helping.

I'm thinking of taking AP classes during my senior year as a final attempt to raise my shit GPA, is that a good idea? It's 2.4 and I'm in the middle of the second trimester :v

No. You should emphasize getting good grades over higher course placement. The vast majority of colleges base admissions based off of Unweighted GPA. They prefer consistency when it comes to students (it is a business, after all).
