I almost feel a bit bad bragging about my parents when I hear sad stories like that. I really feel for you who feel so alienated and in the worst case are in danger of being thrown out.
One happy story I remember seeing on a TV program was from a religious family (evangelical christians) who had a gay son and daughter. The parents were rejected by the church because in the end they accepted their children for who they were.
I kinda have the same. I spent way too much wondering about it. I didn't have quite the same experiences with girls, but I technically had a (short) long distance relationship with a girl when I was 12 and when I was 13-14 I thought I liked a girl in my class. That crush on a boy some years later cemented how weak they were. I was never sexually attracted to a woman though other than a strange wet dream where I woke up and came when she moved her hair.
If I come across a woman I'm attracted to then great. Until then I'll seek relationships with people I know I'm attracted to.

EDIT: So are you going to ask him about it or just ignore it and hope it doesn't alter the dynamic of your relationship with him? I imagine it must take a toll on him not to be able to speak about that side of his life with his friends but, at the same time, I imagine it could lead to some very awkward/uncomfortable interactions.

I had an extra Pikmin 3 code from the Mario Kart 8 promotion and was planning on giving it to my RL friend, but he didn't end up getting a Wii U by the time the code was ending, so I sold it on Ebay. I should have done a giveaway like you did! Oh well, maybe next time I get an extra code.

I'm not gay, but I just served as the best man for my best friend's wedding in Seattle on September 3rd! I have known Blake since 6th grade (17 years), but only found out he was gay 8 years ago. We all live in Texas, so obviously we had to travel out of state for the wedding.
I wanted to share with ya'll the wedding video I put together and I gave them at their reception this past weekend here in Dallas. My goal for the video was simple: Make Blake's new husband cry.... I totally succeeded too.
