I also saw no porn on tumblr also, but I don't care, there was awesome art on there. More I importantly, I saw some fellow Gaffer art on there!

So the Life Is Strange folks just posted this on Facebook:

Speaking of reference, I noticed an alternate version of Max's bag texture in the files. Looks like the skyline patch was supposed to explicitly be Seattle with the Needle at some point.

Loved the 1st episode. Very charming stuff... and I'm also getting slight Twin Peak vibes.

Looking forward to episode 2 and beyond.

Just beat the first episode last night, loved it. So happy they have a mode where you can replay sections just to get the photos, every game needs that.

Just finished Episode 1. Absolutely -loved- it. Loved the soundtrack and the characters. They felt more...lived in than others. And that's with just the first episode.

Can't wait for more.

Would you guys recommend this show? Has it a proper ending? (I know some tv show doesn't have that due to cancelation)

it's very good but parts of season 2 suffer because the television network executives wanted one thing but the creative people wanted something else and you can guess who won out.

Ends well enough but not totally finished. However it's coming back either this year or the next for a new season.

Highly recommended.

It makes me kinda fuzzy inside to see all this great fan reception with all the art. Imagine how are the devs!

One thing that definitely stuck in my mind as I played this; if I got a negative response or a response I didn't want, I would simply rewind it and get the one I wanted. But then that made me think; if a person kept doing that, just getting the optimal result for them, they wouldn't really get much out of life, would they?

At least, in my eyes, failing/screwing up is part of life, so while it's awesome to see all the different choices play out in this game, having that power would be a real mindscrew for me

Not everything is black and white. Stuff seems like maybe wrong at the moment good things could happen from it.

Thinks buying more servers can fix a bad patch
I hope they release an art book in the future , after all the episodes are out.

This. I often found myself speculating and weighing the different potential consequences in a lot of cases. This is why I think the consequences alert with the rewind mechanic works really well.

As much as I am dying to play this gonna hold off til all are available. I love to binge these games, and with the telltale ones they at least go on sale a couple times along the way, so here's hoping for that.

I really really enjoyed this game. If the remaining chapters can keep this up it'll be in the running for my GOTY. It's got a simplicity and a beauty to it which reminds me of Journey. The soundtrack and art style definitely helped a lot. They were both what I would imagine they should be for a game like this. It's all very relaxing in a way. The gameplay itself is like a Telltale game except with polish. The story is excellent so far for a video game. It felt like an episode of a good show and I want to see what happens next.

Again if they can keep this up through the remaining chapters I could say I would have gladly paid the normal $60. $20 is seeming like a steal at this point.

Only played the demo on PS4 and I love it. The music immediately caught my attention and it looks so good. Clean and colourful and the whole style and pace of the game is a breath of fresh air. I'm going to wait until the game is finished though and buy the season pass, I don't like the idea of waiting chunks of time between as I know I'll forget what's happening lol.

My only gripe I have with it is the bloody chromatic aberration feels way overdone. I am happy to trust in their artistic choices but it does literally make me feel like the edge of my vision is blurry as if my glasses were smudged, lol, so I'm constantly rubbing my eyes. Sounds silly I know but its true. I'd love the option to reduce it back or remove it entirely (I don't mind the CA on the very edge corners of Destiny, but this encroaches about a fifth of the way into either side of the screen and its very distracting to me personally). Oh that and the lip syncing which I do hope they fix.

Definitely purchasing this though once its complete!

Yeaaah, I have a love/hate relationship with chromatic abberation in this game. On one hand, it's kinda neat looking, and on the other hand it totally messes with my eyes. Reminds me of migraine auras, lol.

Finished it yesterday. Though, I didn't like it as much as TellTale's stuff, it wasn't half bad. I do like how there is more problem solving, particularly with the time travel
even if it took me a minute to figure out how to interact with the paint bucket lol
. But so help me if Chloe says "hella" one more time. I mean do teenage white girls even talk like that, cause that shit grates hard. Outside of that, I think she's alright lol.

On to some choices:
I think of the many choices, the one I felt the most inclined to rewind on was not intervening when in Chloe's room. I was conflicted upon seeing the aftermath, but I felt that intervening for Kate at school was different than stepping in for Chloe in her home where Max was apparently not welcome. I rationalized it as some reservations on Max's part about exactly where she stands in her friendship with Chloe. On the way to her home, Max is given the chance to explain why she hasn't bothered to contact her former best friend over the years and since Max had returned, and I felt there was a deeper reasoning than the responses you were given in that particular conversation. Something, that in a non-life threatening situation, would give her pause.

Also, there was something to do with a bird and Dana's pregnancy test, but I missed both of them. lol What were those about?

I never thought about the conversation in the car that way. I just thought they were good friends who just drifted apart. But hiding and seeing her get slapped by her father was pretty much the reason why I intervened (he probably hates me since I intervened with Kate, but good grief he needs some people skills). I do have a file where I didn't take the blame though just to see where that goes. I don't know if you care for it or not but there is a collection mode where you can get the pictures you missed without changing your decisions.

Anyway to your questions, the bird can be found when you start looking for the tools in Chloe's house by going into her parents room (same floor as Chloe's). When you enter, you will see a bird hit the window and die. You have open it and rewind so it goes inside instead. The pregnancy test can be found in Dana's room near the laptop close to the ground, what I did (and I imagine a lot of others that found the test did) is rewind after picking it up because Dana reacts very negatively, it opens up new dialogue but it does not count as "finding" her pregnancy test in the statistics.

Just finished episode 1. I was really looking forward to this game, the trailer had me foaming at the mouth and I love the atmosphere it goes for. But my word... Goose bumps. The ending is brilliant and I love the characters, the setting and the mystery.

Love love love it and cannot wait for more.

I was going to buy it episode by episode but feel I might be buying the season pass PRETTY soon! Haha.

Most enjoyable experience I have had in some time, eagerly awaiting the next episode. Not sure how I feel about the whole
time rewind
aspect however. It kind of feels like a cheap device to let you see all outcomes. I'm sure it will have greater narrative ties in the coming episodes, but I hope it is done in a way that feels right to the story. I'm worried it might not.

one would hope that the fact it is the main mechanic of the game would force the writers to create a more meaningful narrative with more everlasting consequences since they cannot pretend the usual "your choices matter, but not really all outcomes are actually the same" that we see in say Telltale games, but we'll have to wait and see.
