I'm not entirely certain that this series is going to live up to its potential. There's plenty of hype after one episode, but we really need a second to see how choices hold from one episode to another, and to see how splintered the storylines get.

they're both apart of the Vortex club iirc, that and them being the "king and queen of Blackwell" doesn't imply a relationship at all to me. More like the big head jerk personalities of the school or something along those lines.
I would say so too, but then again it's like one of the few games I've played that's come out this year, so I really don't want make any claims yet, especially being an episodic thing, as much as I loved ep. 1.

freakin love the change of the subtitle font at the end? It felt like a Square thing, maybe that's why, was a really nice touch.

The issue being raised is that the pack for episodes 2-5 + episode 1 separately is more expensive than buying 1-5 in a set, but Salsa only has enough money on steam to buy the first episode ($5)

I think that was because the whole game was rendered in engine except that last little bit that was a pre-rendered cutscene.
Finished my first playthrough today and collected the remaining photos I missed soon afterwards. It's cool that Max's journal sort of hints at where the photos are located (chapter select upon completion is pretty rad too). Actually, the game's structured very well for a visual novel. Love how it breaks down your choices upon completion and you can quickly access different points in the game to fart around and read/collect things you missed. Definitely has that shit down pat.
I like it, so far, but I'm not head over heels about it yet. Some of the story threads/situations are not my thing (high school kid problems and angst-ridden teens who hate their step fathers, etc.) but the time travel stuff is cool (especially considering what Dontnod did with it before in Remember Me) and, ironically, the poor character animations (lip syncing lol) and some of the delivery of the dialogue kind works in the game's favor. It takes itself so seriously, but there's just something so off about the game and I really dig it for that. The music is fitting, audio design is great and all that jazz, but it's no D4 soundtrack and it's certainly not the kind of music I'd listen to outside of the game, but that's just me (I sort of wish Olivier Derivière did the OST, but I guess his styling would not have fit this game's setting/aesthetic).
I bought the season pass because I'm sort of coming around to this developer. I'm still playing Remember Me for the first time as well, so it's interesting jumping between the two.

This was a pleasant surprise. Bad lip sync and some minor annoyances with voice acting aside I'm going to see this one through.

Finished episode 1 today and loved it! Great game. I have to play through again and try the options I didn't pick the first time. I didn't even see the
from the credits in my playthrough. Also, game looks great in 4k.

I've seen 1-2 SFM artists pick it up unfortunately. I'm pretty sure erotic SFM art literally outnumbers SFW stuff by double easily, maybe triple in animation.
