Like a Dragon: Ishin! releases in 4 days

I'm gonna play it when i'm done with hogwarts and atomic heart.

I played last judgement some time ago and i need some separation between yakuza games to not get burned.

4 days? Game launches on February 21st.

Yeee you bet I'm going to get this. RGG also confirmed that you can disable those ugly damage numbers so that's a positive too, and also that you can safely ignore the super attack cards if you don't want to use them.

While I do love all Yakuza games and Judgment series, I dont feel like getting this one. The setting is boring to me. I like modern stuff. Maybe when its on sale 50% or something.

Already pre-ordered. Some of those C-tier celebrity cards are a bit meh, but it will be good to play a new RGG Studio game.

I think those are DLC and won't stain the base game unless you want to.

But yeah, it's cringe and I don't know what RGG was thinking.

Yakuza/Like a Dragon is a series I've tried several times to get into but bounce off of them after a few hours (0, 7, Judgement) but damn does this setting have me wanting to roll the dice again. Maybe next month.

I wish there were hard copies of the deluxe edition. I guess ill just get the standard version on release day.

I decided to get hogwarts first, but I'll definitely be getting this after. I'm always down for more stuff from Ryu Ga Gotoku studios.

Can't wait to play another brawler Yakuza.

As much as I love Like a Dragon, Yakuza games are best as brawlers.

I still have Lost Judgement to play through before touching this, or the next like a Dragon game first

One of my fav on the whole series. Just make sure to play Yakuza 7 beforehand unless you want some sweet, sweet spoilers.

I am excited, but also a little worried.
when i heard its a remake i envisioned something similiar to kiwami 2, but it seems to still be running the old engine code in an unreal wrapper similiar to the gta trilogy release

i suspect it will feel a little rough after having played so much judgment and lost judgment

also the z tier eceleb cards are a shame but it seems optional at least

This looks to be the case, judging by early gameplay unfortunately.

I'm fine with the game's combat feeling closer to Yakuza 0, 5 or the original Ishin, since I never played the later and that'll make it closer to the original experience.

Like a Dragon? I loved that one a lot, one of my surprise hits when it came to Game Pass

I've only played that, 0 and Kiwami (and Judement, though thats a separate series)so far, I've been meaning to play Kiwami 2

So is this a turned based or action game? Can't keep these "Yakuza" games straight anymore.

Action. You can fuck up dudes with your fists, a katana, a gun or katana + gun for maximum samurai action.

Really looking forward to this one, I think I still have the JPN demo on a PS4 somewhere. Finally it makes it over. Its installed and ready to go!

This one can wait. Wizard game, atomic heart, and wanted dead all need my love first.

Still skeptical AF over atomic heart.

I think it looks dated. I still expect a good story and some cool side stuff, but generally, I can't hype myself up for this.

I've never bought a Yakuza game and I was thinking of getting it at first, but then I saw some gameplay and it looks rough. I'm gonna skip. I know it's a remake and not a new game but eh, I'll pass.
