Told the CS guy that if it would be possible for me to get a $20 credit for pre-ordering the LBP2 CE since they're giving it away for pre-ordering the normal edition, he said to give me the order number/address and I did. Don't be mad about the mini-games thing. Games are fun and as a compensation you can get the tools tutorial prizes rightaway without actually going through the tutorials. You can freely walk to the exit point, get your stuff and move on to the next one while the guy is still speaking.
I also believe there are less prizes to get in the tutorials. While going through them at some point I began getting empty bubbles in tutorials I have never visited before. I think prizes are not specific to each tutorials. Like there are, say, 30 prizes to get overall, and you get 5 of them in each tutorial you visit, no matter which one.
Oh, If you don't need to be a certain score and you get the prizes anyways, I'm good.
It's just that I want my search for 100% prizes to be the less of a pain as possible. I never really liked the idea that I should collect what I need in order to create. I fantasize jumping right away in the create mode or that simply finishing the story mode would trigger an "unlock everything".
FUCK NO!!! I like that LBP2 plays like LBP, otherwise it just wouldn't be LBP, it'd be just another Mario wannabe game. It has its own distinct style and gameplay, which is totally different than Mario or most platormers out there and I'd never ever want MM to change that. fucking mohammad won't give me the $20 credit. Told him i'm cancelling and ordering at best buy. I had a print screen of my order cancellation too. was epic. since they aren't offering me the $20 i went and ordered through best buy. they are giving me reward points for LBP2 anyways and i get to use my $5 coupon. so in the end i win unless the game gets delayed shipping.

I preordered the CE for a friend and checked with Amazon because I really want that $20 credit so I can get something for myself. I talked to two different associates (one on the chat & one on the phone) and both said I was going to get the promotion. I'm still a tad bit doubtful because they sounded confused. I said several times "I'm not talking about the price matching but the $20 Amazon preorder credit for a future purchase.". If it doesn't go through by the time the game ships, I'll call again and tell them how I was guaranteed the promotion.

As for the mini-games, they're actually really well made and should be played as they will give you great ideas for other games. There's one in Eve's area where there are several areas you have to control two sackbot in different areas. The puzzles are pretty ingenius and left me with a huge grin figuring it out. I mean, they aren't hard, but you definitely leaves you with a sense of accomplishment.

Yay, finally got around to ordering mine from Amazon. It sucks that the game comes out on the first day of classes though. I probably won't be getting around to playing it till Friday. Although I enjoyed the first LBP I feel that I kind of ignored it in the end. Here's hoping this one gets my full attention. The ability to make games from varying genres is mainly what is drawing me to it. My dream is to make a simple Wonderboy-esque action/rpg. Judging from the videos I have seen this should be quite possible. I can't wait!

I'll buy LBP2. I enjoyed LBP 1, and I think I'm ready for more content. However, the ability to find a good user-generated level was not easy. I hope Media Molecule improve the browsing option this time.
