Doubt it's Metroid. I just don't the series appearing on 3DS but not Wii U. Majora's Mask wouldn't be a shock and would be very welcome, but a third Zelda game after Hyrule Warriors and LoZ Wii U would be a lot from the series for a single E3 surely?

As long as the release dates don't collide (and they most surely won't) then it'll be a lot of Zelda news, but not really a fatigued marketplace.

That's confirmed as a Wii U title though. I guess they could change platforms for development ease, and as there are plenty of SMT fans on 3DS, but I doubt they would.

The only reason the mother joke holds any weight is because there was also a Starfox joke...and look how that turned out.



During one of the early Robot Chicken sketches there was a mother 3 joke made. It might not mean anything, but at least Nintendo recognizes that there is a still a lot of fan demand for the localization all these years later.

Majora's Mask 3D makes sense to me. If they announced the game yesterday, it would have inevitably been completely overshadowed by Zelda U, but by waiting a day they ensure that fans have sort of a clear mind again once the Majora announcement hits.
