Can I just ask, the people who are saying it's back working, what error were they initially getting. I made the mistake of logging out of my ps4, now I can't log in, we're you lot already logged in.
 
With a bit of luck the Virgin Squad will get laid over the next few months and then fuck off down a hole to wank about it for the rest of their shitty sweaty neck bearded lives
 
So my kids accounts work but since I have to sign into mine manually it's not letting me sign in. Now I'm really fucking pissed off. Stuck with the connection to the server is lost BS.

This has been a problem for years. If everyone picked up their phone at the same time only half of them would get a dial tone.

There's only so much bandwidth, and when people purposefully clog it up that's going to be a lasting effect as people log in/out repeatedly legitimately.

THAT IS NOT THE POINT THOugh is it? did you listen to the interview? xbox were able to get back up after 14 hours or so while psn was down for 48 hours. due to sony not having the man power and server

To be fair, Xbox Live was down for considerably longer than 14 hours. It was down, or intermittently down, for the past couple of days as well.

Xbox one has never been down for me over the last two days, yet in that time and still now I can't login on ps4.

Preaching patience is fine and well but I've been pushing the fucking login button for 3 days now and the other accounts on my console are on and fine yet the primary account the master account was signed out and now that I'm trying to sign in manually it simply won't fucking work and it makes no sense at all. I see others on enjoying their games after being offline and I've been dedicating time to try and get back online I've reset the PS4 over 10 times the last 3 days and yeah I'm good and pissed off and the last thing I want to hear is be patient when that's all I've been up until now. Patience only goes so far and I'm out of it with this latest development.

Alright. But by that logic, PSN hasn't been down for 48 hours either because people that aren't you have been able to sign on at various times. All of that is really besides the point.

PSN is working over here on PS4!!!! I just redeemed my codes and I am quite excited!!!!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edit: How do I download the festival pack for GTA V? I want to play as Santa even when it's not the Holiday season!
 
I stupidly signed out while it was down. Now I have to put my pw back in, and I just keep getting Connection to the server has been terminated.

Same here. I signed out so I could retry logging in rather than turning the system off and on again and I just keep getting told the connection to the server is terminated.

In Australia too (Melbourne).

The annoying part is, my girlfriend, who has her PS4 literally set up next to mine, is signed into psn and can play her 2 games she owns, and all the ones I shared with her.

And I keep getting this connection terminated message.
