What is funny is as I understand it they were kind of crowbaring her in there at the end of the season.

the show is good when it actually is about mmorpg stuff. Once it gets into relationships and day to day lives, it turns me off.

I hope they don't lose the random background character design. Although I don't think the animation or backgrounds themselves were impressive, I liked how we could see random background heroes with completely odd stand out outfits, rather than it being a right reserved to the actual characters. There were even some people that seemed to dress in completely setting inappropriate modern clothes. It'd be a shame if all that disappeared and they all started dressing as generic soldiers.

What i was trying to say is i wait for there to be a good amount of eps before i start watching .
Which means i won't be able to come in here and talking with you guys every week because of spoilers.
Pretty good first episode and the new ED is pretty cute.
So they're running out of money pretty fast and boy do they need a lot money to make ends meet no wonder Shiroe is getting slightly stressed again.
The Eighty trillion gag was great though.
So we're getting a raid which should be pretty cool from the little snippet at the start of the episode. Should be fun seeing Shirore build up his raiding team in the next couple of episodes.
Log Horizon Season 2, Episode 1:
We have returned to the database and it is glorious, it has not missed a step,
Still, Log Horizon has wasted no time in announcing the new stakes that are at hand and things look stunningly dire for the great capital of Akihaibra. You can tell it is a new season as we get introduced to new characters, some of which seemed to have come from a Koren MMORPG, and new factions, as we learn of a new top player in the politics of this world.
Damnation, I already want it to be next week, Log Horizon is back and it looks better then ever.

although it looks like we are shifting time quite a bit, I think I counted three different time periods in this one episode.
The Kunie Clan seems to be a very powerful indeed if they are in control of the some of the very mechanics themselves. Indeed, this episode reminds me of how masterfully it blends MMORPG tropes and obscure flavor text into meaning large and profound things. I like the idea of in order to get a giant payday, the Round Table is going to have to go to the very source of gold and to try and take it over.

Well, the change is studio is certainly noticeable. The character art, in general, looks worse and the background art now looks extremely generic. This is disappointing, to say the least.
I can't say that I was a fan of the direction of this episode. The non-linear chronology didn't really work for me because there wasn't any rhyme or reason to it, instead it just felt like a jumbled mess. In addition, most of the cinematography was fairly bland.
In addition, the first half of the episode features more stupid relationship stuff which is never a good ting. The episode improved in the second half, which is when get onto "Log Horizon-y" themes and topics.

I need more. Studio change was kinda weird. Characters look slightly different, took a while to get used to, but I think I'm over it. First half was kinda slow and took things to get going. Akatsuki being jealous of Minori is getting old, hope she gets over that crap and does cool stuff this season. Second half was the Log Horizon we know and love! The time jumps were a bit weird, but that's the hook, I need to know what happens that leads to the ending of this episode!
New ED is alright. Cool it's the same artist, but I think I like first ED more.

With the first episode, I think they tried a bit too hard to recap the last season AND do an overview of the second season upfront. Negotiations don't make a pilot episode exciting which is probably why all the non-chronological fight sequences are in.
Second half of the episode made up for the first half. Wish they didn't put in the end scene there though. Spoiling the story before it even happens.
