this gathering is basically the epitome of all the geeks who are LOTR fans, they would like to be part of this epic events and will like to get as much as info as possible, they are going to register this gathering in their memories that will remain forever in their lives, not establishing it as an epic occasions but simply just calling it a normal reunion is a total understatement

He's actually ten years older than the rest of the hobbits. Which is funny since Pippin is supposed to be youngest in the books.
I noticed that too. Dude looks likes he's aged 30 years. Even Spielberg and Lucas look younger than him.
