Terry O Quinn doesn't deserve a nomination for this season though. Out of all of the 'supporting' cast I'd give it to Michael Emerson.

Actually never mind. I forgot about the flash-sideways performance. Still not as good as Emerson this year though.
I can't think of anyone outacting O'Quinn for the overall season. Both Richard & Sawyer were better in their episodes to me.

This season was Emmerson's worst but he redeemed himself some by the last two episodes.

Im sure the Epilogue will be on the Season 6 set as well as the complete series.

I thought Dr. Linus was the highlight of Emmerson on LOST. I'm very satisfied with his role this season, even if I wish he had some more screentime here or there.

The epilogue will be on the S2 set just for shits and giggles.
Hidden in a DVD menu, and even after you find the location, a video pops up of Darlton as they go "the videos here, but only if you get the 8-digit alphanumeric code. You want your answers, work for them motherfuckers!"

All will be forgiven if Taller Walt makes an epilogue cameo. Do it, Lindelcuse!

Dude himself said Walt was gonna be in The End.:lol
I think, either Damon or Carlton said that we'll see Walt again, and then the other one kinda went "WTF shut uuuuup!"

We better at least find out that Hurley signed over the $83,000 he owns to Walt from getting his ass handed to him at backgammon. Not like he needs it.

Actually, I'd like nothing more than for that to be the only scene we get with Walt :lol

Why wouldn't he need it?!

Kid never got a settlement from Oceanic, lives with his Grandma, who obviously isn't rich.

Shit, now that you mentioned it, I really hope that happens :lol

My guess:

The epilogue we will see is Ben and Hurley around a campfire. Hurley randomly asks about why they kidnapped walt. Being in the perfect position to know, Ben replies it had something to do with him being slightly special and his power being uncontrollable and inconsistent and thus useless to them.

NO MYSTERY.

I think Walt may have already got it. He was going to a pretty nice school in Bentham.

speaking of which, the scene where Locke was on a beach in a suit, surrounded by people who wanted to hurt him...?

I meant that Hurley doesn't need it.

Even if he needs money as the protector of the Island, I'm sure Ben would be willing to donate his vast fortunes.

May be taking liberties with this one, but he was in a suit in his casket right? His corpse was on a beach after the crash. And it was surrounded by people who wanted to hurt "Locke"...I guess.

Funny thing is I would be fine with that. I think I'm just looking for acknowledgment within the show that something was up with him.

His body on the beach.

FYI:

LOST Finale: "explained" "explanation" "what happened" "what does it mean" have all been popular enough search terms that they are suggested goggle queries.

Does google tell us why frank crashed the second plane? Was he still just peeved at everyone else?

Frank crashed everything except for the cockpit. Because Franklin J. Lapidus waits for no one.

So I can accept that some people are just "special" as an explanation for Walt, Miles, and Hurley's abilities, and possibly Desmond's resistance to EM and MIB's knowledge of rules and how things work... but why didn't Hurley start seeing dead people until he got off the island? If he just naturally had that ability, why didn't he see dead people before?

I personally think Dave was a dead person

I'm sure most disagree, but whatever

Could've been, but since he was actively trying to kill him, it could've been Smokey. Could go either way, really.

Well, Dave in real world = Ghost. Dave on Island = Smokey.

Thats kinda how I see it.

Desmond's specialness is derived from all the EM he was exposed to during his years in The Swan, and MIB's knowledge of the rules is likely derived from trial-and-error (if not Jacob outright telling him what he can't do).

I don't think those two are cases of "they're special just because" like Miles and Walt.

Hmm, gonna need a better refresher on this.
When Jack was trapped in the Shark tanks at the start of season 3, there was a broken Intercom.

A little later, a bunch of static gets through the intercom, and you hear Christian saying those words.

Jack asks about it afterwards, and Juliette said it hasn't worked for a long time.

Dead said:

That could be. I was about to ask why he was the only person he ever saw before the island, but now that I think of it, I don't think they ever stated that. I guess it's possible that he saw other people besides Dave.

Actually it was quite poetic if you take into account this scene:

LOST
Damn, that is the first scene I've seen of season 1, after seeing the finale... It's so weird knowing the end and watching the beginning... Also probably one of my favorite episodes ever..... lol I think I need to see The White Rabbit now...:lol

I didn't mean Jacob's rules, but, like, the board game. Jacob asks him how he knows the rules, and he says, "I just do." A similar exchange happens later when Mother asks how he knows how to make the donkey wheel work.

I guess Desmond could go either way.

Oh, that.

Well, technically, no one really knows how to play Senet, so nevermind that. :lol

And I don't think MIB actually *knew* that the wheel would work, but just believed it would (not unlike Locke). I got the impression that when Mother asks him about it, his "Because I'm special" response was more mocking her than anything else.

I instantly recalled that scene after the finale. It's one of my favorites actually, always stuck out to me:

It's going to be strange and exciting watching the series from beginning to end later this year. Dont think I'll ever be able to look at Jack the same way after "The End".

So when does Lost: Stargate SG1 Atlantis drop?

Has there ever been a big mythology-based series like Lost that didn't get some sort of spinoff or expanded universe? I think it's pretty much inevitable.
