Im about to try and have a nap. It will fail horribly for 3 reasons:
- I don't nap
- Its fucking sunny and 30 degrees celsius outside
- Im too hyped for tonight

Maybe I should shoot a bottle of McCutcheons first and just pass out.
I'm going to try and nap after I finish watching the final 4 parts of this NY Times thing. I didn't sleep at all last night. I'm afraid I won't even make it to 9pm if I don't try and shut my eyes for a bit. Been drinking coffee since 8am and it's giving me a major panic attack now.

In retrospect it's a little weird that Ethan seemed to have super strength, but it was incredibly compelling that there would be someone who was already on the island. And Charlie's resuscitation was one of the best moments of S1 the entire show.

WTF? I haven't even seen them on a Lost vid yet, I'm so scared :(

I remember I spoiled earlier seasons, but this show is way too important to spoil

Yeah I'm only going to listen to that NYT's thing, I'm bound to read a spoiler in the comments..

What are peoples views on the Ethan kidnap arc from the first season? ive encountered more than a few people who really disliked it, whereas i personally thought it was one of the best arcs in season 1.

Epic arc. truly menacing villain. I thought that arc made real the fear of the others; made it seem like they were truly capable of anything, and were willing to kill anyone. All the while, we had no clear concept of their motivation, while it was apparent that there was one.. Ethan as the tip of the spear, though, meant that it would take some work to find the person(s) really pulling the strings and what their end game was.

To me, it meant that there were some meaty, and dark, layers to the story.

local news will be on @ 1130 first iirc
Yeah, I think they built in a half hour for news. For any central people still confused, it goes like this:

6PM-8PM 2 hour Recap show
8PM-10:30PM 2.5 Hour finale :,(
10:30PM-11PM Local news
11PM JKL Aloha to Lost

Back in business? Nice.
I'm so pumped for The End, it's gonna be an emotional experience. I'll watch the preshow and the Kimmel shit as well, so it's all Lost until Dr. Brule's next report @ midnight.

I think I'm just going to avoid anything that involves user input. I'm off Facebook, youtube, maybe even Wikipedia.

I feel bad for people who have to moderate that sort of shit and are Lost fans.

"Why do you spoil every episode by listing all the actors appearing in that episode during the opening credits" - audience question from the NY Times event.

:lol

Answer was that it's a contractional thing w/ the actors.

why can't they show it at the end actually?

I admit, I luled hard with the Harry Potter drive by spoilings.

Being on the receiving end on LOST would be horrifying.
I thought the HP drive-bys were stupid. :/ I felt so bad for those people.

After Harry Potter got spoiled for me, I spoiled it for everyone on Facebook:lol
Better hope that no one spoils Lost for me :o

I think I'm going to institute an internet blackout starting now. I watched some LOST things on youtube this morning and managed to avoid spoilers but I don't think my luck will hold out.

I'll see you all on the other side.

I always assumed Ethan's "Super Strength" in the fight with Jack, was more a case of "Jack just fell down a steep slope, wallowed in water, and is tired/hungry/dehydrated from crashing on an island", which would put him at a disadvantage against someone who is used to being on the island and is healthy.

But the whole Carrying Claire and Charlie thing, don't know.

I really am going to have to avoid the entire Internet in a few hours until I watch it tomorrow. It's a good job I watched The Candidate right after it aired because early the next morning a "friend" on Facebook put her status as "OMG I can't believe Sun and Jin are dead". Lost doesn't even air in the UK until Friday so she probably spoilt most of her friends. Idiot.

Family cookout and final Lost all in one day best Sunday ever.

My family went to my uncles house 2 hours away but I stayed home because I wouldn't be able to watch it live. I am dying for a steak though :(

Yeah, that was more what I was referring to, and getting Charlie strung up in such a short period of time. Either way it's explainable by Ethan just being a strong dude and possibly having some island magic in him from being born there.

The others definitely had some kind of ninja training, with all the poison dart shooting and stealth takedowns.

I'll take this one Solo.

Maybe he's not dead?

If he is still alive, he's probably having a really lousy time considering the fact that they buried him.

I'm so glad Netflix updated with all these Nicktoons. Watching Spongebob now and it's making the wait a little easier.

crazy but, the first time I saw Locke, in the pilot, six years ago. I thought he was behind the crash, behind the smoke monster, etc.
Something about him, just gave me the creeps.

Maybe real life is X time line ?!

And both Jacob and Dogen are like these martial arts superstars.

I hate that too.

Spooks/Mi-5 does it best as they don't show any credits at the start or end of the show and it's written in the contract that the cast and crew won't be credited. It's supposed to fit in with the whole spy vibe by not knowing who people really are. :D
