Yeah, I was wondering that too (about the fight). This was a pretty good episode. The cliffhanger wasn't too bad, at least. Not compared to some of the ones they've had in Alias.

What really impressed me, though, was that I was totally, completely convinced that

Charlie was dead. I was skeptical until Jack gave up, and they were both sort of standing there.

I think the fight was real. First off, Ethan MUST have some extraordinary strength to drag off both charlie and claire. and second, Ethan arned jack not to follow him. im pretty convinced it was real

After watching it again I noticed that jack and kate took off up the hill and it took em 32 seconds before jack fell....it took jack 7 seconds to get back to the bottom where they started and a total of 57 seconds from the time he fell till the final kick from ethan. It would have taken kate no more than 20 seconds to get back down the hill...she would have HAD to have seen it if it was actually happening.
