f u mang, that white screen was awesome. Better than any cringe-worthy "Miss Widmore, we found it" shit.
Locke's loss of faith throughout S2 was one of the more annoying stories this show has ever done (same could be said for most of the stories in S2), and Michael's betrayal...well, the less about S2 Michael, the better.
Differences of opinion I guess. I literally rolled my eyes at the white screen and sighed.
Locke's loss of faith was great dynamic I thought. Especially when you watch Man of Science, Man of Faith and Orientation. Locke's faith is tested in a big way and while that's a common plot line in tons of different fiction, it's gripping nonetheless.
The stuff about Michael I love is just how much it makes you hate him. I didn't hate the writers for taking the character in that direction like I did when Faraday went all commando in the Others' camp, I hated the character himself. It drew me in and I actually felt for the characters he had betrayed. Quality television as far as I'm concerned.
The Incident's 1977 storyline bored me to tears. It seemed so drawn out and telegraphed. The only thing that blew me away was the reveal that Locke was MIB. The stuff with Jacob's flashbacks and his death were great, but you can't base an entire season finale on that alone. I was underwhelmed.
