Also, keeping in mind that I haven't read the spoiler, Speeding said something about how feasible it would be with Losts budget? There's a big difference between filming a guy in a coffin for a couple of seconds and filming an elaborate spoiler such as this unless there is some truth to the spoiler (just like there was a guy in the coffin), but they've mixed things up a bit to fool both the sources and the spoiler community.

Bingo. You dont film something like the Freighter finale form S4 or the Swan incident in S5 just to lead people down the wrong path while youre secretly shooting something else. No executive will go for that :lol

alright guys, how accurate is this call sheet thing? Costanza, god bless him, came on IM a few days ago and just boom'd it for me. Is it a spoiler for the ending of Lost? What is it?
Or would it be wiser to just not ask anything about it and hope to god, that it's a fake?

Jesus Christ, what's up with the panic in this thread? There is no indication that the scenes in that call sheet are the final scenes of LOST. Furthermore the descriptions of scenes are being way overblown. It could, and I am 99% positive it will, mean a hundred things aside from what people seem to be naturally assuming, despite reams of evidence to the contrary.

Gotta ask, when the mod made you turn the GAF donkey wheel, where did you end up?

It was a place, X-GAF as I called it..where everything was as I wanted it to be. But none of it felt like it should be. Then I asked myself, what if I had already posted a spoiler and was somehow responsible for all of it? After much toil and searching, I met Speeding, I told him everything. That he was the connection between me and Lost-GAF and that I needed him to go back to April 14th and stop me from posting the spoiler.... I woke up today and I was unbanned. Speeding made it happen, he went back in time and stopped me from posting that spoiler. He is my constant.

I'll admit, I read it. Part of me was intrigued, part of me had a feeling that even if I read it, I wouldn't be able to deduct much from it. And I was right. After reading it, I don't feel spoiled at all. There's like, one bitsy thing that may or may not be a big deal, but it's so incredibly vague that I just can't find any reason to think that after reading the sheet, that I found out anything about the finale.

Did you write Faraday's dialogue for the show? I'd probably believe you if you lied.

Whether they're the final scenes or not, they're spoilers and the people in this thread don't like to be spoiled (much). I wouldn't want to know spoilers about What Kate Does, let alone any scene or outcome in the finale.

That's fine, but there is a lot of nonsense talk on the last page or two about the last scene being spoiled for everyone and some even more nonsensical talk about the four letter word. There is very little content to that call sheet besides knowing who will survive to the finale. I can understand people may not want to know that, but it's being overblown.

For Lost-GAF? Yes brotha. Actually I wrote and made all of it. :lol

About the word (and I will spoiler this just in case, even though it's not, but I want to be safe)
it's likely the writer's own personal meaning/context within the story, rather than in a literal sense.

Well the people that haven't read it have no idea about the contents, so we're panicking just at the thought of being accidentally spoiled. To those that have read it, it seemed like there was a bit more info about the finale and the direction it's heading in than you're letting on, but as I said I have no idea having not read it; maybe the reaction is overblown. I hope to not find out for the time being.

Is this what they're calling EB now? ;)

But the spoiler sites knew that in the show it would be Locke in the casket in the same way that they know this call sheet to be real -- multiple sources from various stages of production all confirm the same info. As I said, if it's a foiler it's a massively elaborate one.

At the same time, spoilers ALWAYS get out and it would be dumb of ABC to not try to counteract this by confusing the spoiler scene by flooding it with fake info, but known foilers are usually small tidbits of info; nothing like this, and most of them are found out due to info not matching what sources are claiming.

Yeah, I remember the big "foiler" was that it wasn't "John Locke". Technically it was Jeremy Bentham.

I haven't seen no nothin' about the finale though.

Phew!

This was pretty much exactly my impression.

Well I will say that the call sheet consists of the names of a few actors and some very vague locations. For example (not the actual location, but of similar vagueness), "MEADOW" or something similar. Then there are a few words describing whats going on in each shot, but without context we have absolutely no idea what is going on and it's not really spoiling anything.

Not really a spoiler, but does anybody know what Flash Sideways 11 is all about?

As far as I can tell it's just scene from S3 where Hurley is busted by Libby while gathering things for the picnic. I don't see anything particularly sideways about the clip, but I know that the show has left open the possibility for sidewaysness in previous episodes (See the picture frame changes in the Miles flashback of "Confirmed Dead"). There has to be something to it if it was released as a special featured video on ABC's site two weeks after the Hurley episode.

Any thoughts? I'm lost on this one.

Okay, apparently there are a few of these that have slipped under my radar.

Flash Sideways 7
Another clip from a previous episode: Jin tells Sun that her father gave permission for them to marry.

These seem to be just deleted scenes. I don't know why they're being released as a special features series (Lost has enough shit on ABC's plate right now:lol )

The episode score cards are in for the finale:

Finale Part 1 - 9.3

Finale Part 2 - 9.7

Looks like the second half is going to be pretty much the best episode ever.

Except for this episode ab aeterno was the highest rated of the season and that got a 9.6 :D

Just saw that. Two of the sources gave it 9.8, one 9.9. and another gave it a fucking 10. DAYYYUMMM.

Yeah looks like the last half of the finale is mind blowing. Glad to see insanely high scores all round, with no miserable bugger giving it a 7 or an 8. Looks like they're taking it to a fascinating and satisfying conclusion.

A few more of my sources have now read the bulk of the finale script (minus the secret scenes) and have sent their scores in. These have been updated below.

I wonder what the average score would be with the secret scenes. 10.5? 11?

FULL STEAM AHEAD, CAP'N!!

Those scores throughout the season have generally matched up well with my opinions, can't wait... :lol

Just hope I don't get too spoiled from on now, apart from that vague call-sheet.

Are they alternate versions of scenes maybe? Because I've definitely seen these in the show. I was under the impression that ABC was showing us things we've already seen under the "Flash Sideways" titles for some reason, at the behest of the producers, maybe. I'll have to check out those episodes today sometime.

OH MY GOD!!!!:D :D :D :D

:lol :lol :lol Oh, you guys. When the scores are poor, you're all "whatevs, man, they've been wrong the past few weeks". But when they're high, they must be legit.

Solo, it works like this

Dark UFO 5.5=Real world 6.8
Dark UFO 7=real world 8.5
Dark UFO 9.8= real world 50.67

It's a judgement made to scale, you see.

thats cuz lots of the previous scores were based off just scripts and not the actual final episode. The final score can only be higher than the script score.

So ummm

This is a POTENTIAL spoiler about a casting for the finale. No story details, nothing. Just casting. If you don't even want to know about casting details for the finale, don't read. However since Casting details for the finale were posted in this thread once before, and no one seemed to mind, I will post it here:

Word seems to be going around that
John Terry has been spotted during filming of the finale

Ah, no, you misunderstand. That just means the high episodes are REALLY good.
