LOST Thread of minor spoilers and speculation (post here or get banned until S6 ends)

People should probably spoiler tag their hint to a word. It's kinda obvious (though maybe cos I know what it is?)

I'm pretty sure the thing is bullshit anyway. At least in the way we're coming at it.

Guys, this a non-spoiler I read long ago, but forgot to post it. I just wanted to talk about it.

Darkufo asks: "what's your favorite answer given?"

Among several answers: "The identity of adam & eve was shocking"

I didn't see why it could be shocking and I wasn't exactly excited to know their identities but rewatching season 1 I found out they had the bag with the black and white stone, and after knowing jacob and/or MIB had those too the answer becomes a lot more interesting, 'cause it means there's a rivalry or a jin-jan shit about them.

In fact, I have a theory, episode 16 might be about them, considering the title. What do you think?

Yeah, I really didn't want to know it, but costanza had it out in the open so all I can think is it's either
dead
or
hell

FML

I hope I'm wrong.

Well if the 4 word is
_________-d.e..ad-___________
then it's not really an spoiler, c'mon we know some of that will happen for sure. I just hope it's [SPOILOL]LOCK[/SPOILOL] :lol

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK.

Why did I read that stupid call sheet. Fuck man, let's not talk about big spoilers in the minor spoilers thread. It's too enticing.

What exactly IS a call sheet exactly?

I'm seeing this thing was found in a bar? Come on, it has to be fake.

A call sheet is kind of a "where and when" for cast and crew. It tells them where they should be and when for filming of specific scenes. It'll include little outlines of the scenes and where they're supposed to take place. It's not too unbelievable that some lowly assistant was reviewing his call sheet at a bar the night before shooting and forgot it there.

I still don't want to enter that other thread, and it seems like many of the regulars in here have read this stuff already anyway :(

Uh, no. 5 episodes left and theres no way in hell Ill be reading a call sheet. Anyone who talks about that unmarked in here should be banned, no questions asked.

Agreed... I've not read it and won't read it.

However, how secure are we? What if some idiot just spoils it for us in the middle of a normal Lost thread? I hate leaks. And I'm a tad bit insecure because some asshole always seem to spoil shit for fans (case in point: Mass Effect 2)

DarkUFO himself has updated the post -- Update: 11:45 Just stopping in from my Vacation to let you know that this call sheet is 100% confirmed real from a couple of my contacts.

Sucks for those that read it :(

Sucks for you guys that read it. Don't really know why you would.

It absolutely should NOT be in here btw. You guys should edit out any comments now that it's confirmed real. That stuff belongs in the major spoilers thread.

Indeed. Not even a 4 letter word hint (which I've pretty much worked out). Am I right in thinking that it literally explains the end of the show? If so, that really sucks. I can't believe anyone would risk reading it even when it's legitimacy was up in the air.

I can believe so many of the regs have now spoiled themselves with respect to the finale. I cant even fathom why you would read it even before it was confirmed as legit.

I'm actually angry how this got out, how stupid do you have to be to leave something like that behind?

I dont think even this thread is safe anymore. Might have to stick to the episode threads. Our last safe haven.

I suppose it could still be an elaborate foiler, but his sources are likely work at different stages of production so they'll be able to verify with scripts and during filming. They'd pretty much have to all be in on it; I think it's probably legit.

I cant believe you got infected, Speeding. Of all people, getting spoiled on LOST's ending. I feel for ya :_(
I read one word in the title of an article on a website that shouldn't have been spoiling anything - still not believing what I saw til I see it. There's no evidence in the show of it happening right now. You see, Solo, I'm a Man of Science...and you're a Man of Faith. And when shit like "found in a bar" is in the story, the same week as "iPhone prototype found in a bar", it doesn't lend a lot of credence to the story, regardless of what these DarkUFO guys wanna say (because i don't know how credible they even are).

I just want the record to show, I have spoiled nothing. Not even with hints.

DarkUFO is pretty credible. He doesn't spoil people unless they want to be spoiled, and he doesn't put things up as fact without fact checking. The site didn't even put up the call sheet until he had contacted several sources; there was just a notice referring to it's existence in the rumours section. I don't know what the call sheet says, but I don't think the fact that the show provides no evidence of heading in that direction means much. I'm pretty sure we should be expecting twists which are shocking and unpredictable.

IMO, the call sheet is legit the same way that the Sawyer/Desmond casket scenes were.

In other words, a planned foiler. But we'll see. If it is real it's really, REALLY dumb. And FWIW, I only saw that one word everyone is talking about (saw it on imdb), so I'm not completely tainted concerning the finale.

But the spoiler sites knew that in the show it would be Locke in the casket in the same way that they know this call sheet to be real -- multiple sources from various stages of production all confirm the same info. As I said, if it's a foiler it's a massively elaborate one.

At the same time, spoilers ALWAYS get out and it would be dumb of ABC to not try to counteract this by confusing the spoiler scene by flooding it with fake info, but known foilers are usually small tidbits of info; nothing like this, and most of them are found out due to info not matching what sources are claiming.

Call sheets routinely have the wrong information on them, though. We used to get Buffy call sheets with completely false plot summaries on them. And that was for Buffy! I would imagine a show like LOST would not have accurate plot info printed on the call sheets. Nobody in production reads that shit anyway.

Not that I read it or anything (why would I?). Just saying.

Hope this is true. Really.

They could have filmed this purely as a foiler. Remember the S4 finale with Locke in the casket? They had a bunch of different versions of that, that were probably also on callsheets.

Its not cost effective to shoot multiple endings. Whatever got out is likely legit. S4 was different because thats easy as filming a 30 second shot on a soundstage 3 times.

Well, they've confirmed that it's the callsheet from the finale, but the actual stuff on the callsheet might just be stuff to throw off the crew, like Mifune said.

I haven't read it yet, but some people's reactions have me both worried and excited. Apparently they have the balls to do some BIG things in the finale, so thats a good sign IMO.

On the other hand, the negative reaction that seems to be cropping up is of course a bit disheartening.

You're assuming that every one DarkUFO's dozen or so trusted sources works with the filming crew. The fact that they work at different stages of production usually allows him to find out exactly how real any given spoiler is; it's how they deducted that Locke was in the coffin and not Sawyer or Desmond despite those two endings being filmed.

Also, keeping in mind that I haven't read the spoiler, Speeding said something about how feasible it would be with Losts budget? There's a big difference between filming a guy in a coffin for a couple of seconds and filming an elaborate spoiler such as this unless there is some truth to the spoiler (just like there was a guy in the coffin), but they've mixed things up a bit to fool both the sources and the spoiler community.
