There are some more spoilers there, but I figured this is enough.
Are you guessing the four-letter-word for the next episode? I know it, I can PM it to you if you want. One of your guesses is...closescola said:My guesses are

Same. I don't want to know the answer to the poll, but I'm glad and kinda surprised that we'll get the answer to that question. It looks like they'll be delving deeper into the mythology than I thought. For those that don't want to look at the poll, it relates to finding out the answer to this question --Lonestar said:Oh snap, new poll up, and it's about something that I figured we had seen the last of!

Hmm that could make sense. That's why they hadInaudibleWhispa said:I could take a pretty good guess at the word, but I'm making an assumption based on a picture I saw (not from the show) on DarkUFO. the donkey wheel has already been explained. Not sure about Room 23, though.TheVampire said:Does anyone think we will find out whats the deal with that frozen donkey wheel and that specail room the others had Walt in?
Same here. Aside from idiots posting spoilers in places they shouldn't (which I fortunately haven't been a victum of), I think it's been pretty easy to avoid anything major.Nameless said:The fuck are you guys doing to get spoiled on late season info accidentallly? There's no such thing as getting "spoiled" accidentally! most of you people who "claim" to be, have done so, of your own will.:lolNameless said:The fuck are you guys doing to get spoiled on late season info accidentallly? What about people who don't spoiler-tag a spoiler, put it in the wrong section/thread or just plonk it in the comments section of, for example, an unrelated YouTube video. There are plenty of ways to accidentally read something you didn't want to. It hasn't happened to me for Lost, but it did for the last season finale of Dexter. Reading some comments on a Sci-Fi blog someone just blurted out "____ DIES!".Lafiel said:There's no such thing as getting "spoiled" accidentally! most of you people who "claim" to be, have done so, of your own will.:lol
InaudibleWhispa said:that sucks. That ep is supposed to have a game changer which has leaked. Hope it isn't anything too major you read. Don't even tempt me with anything major in spoiler tags or anything. Did you do it accidentally?

I think he meant the origin of the wheel itself. Still totally up in the air.Nameless said:wasn't a total explanation just a bunch of little clues:
Orchid sits over a pocket of electromagnetism. Losties are time flashing, decide that going back to the Orchid might stop that from happening. Locke lowers himself down the well, Sawyer is holding the rope, a time flash occurs sending the Losties to a point in the past before the well or Orchid station existed. Sawyer is still holding the rope...what happened happened leads us to believe that's in fact how it the site discovered in the first place. LOST

It doesn't have to be explained, but more info would be a nice treat.Nameless said:Personally I don't think that matters too much. One of those things they might not answer. When Dharma discovers the wheel it's buried behind a wall of rock.
Flashbacks? Bread crumb clues ala the polar bears? Off-handed comments from Richard/Jacob/MiB? A number of different ways.TheGreatDave said:How do you "explain" the wheel?
You did see the Lighthouse, right?
Um, that's what I'm saying.TheGreatDave said:The point is some things are inexplicable. The Lighthouse being one of them, and the Donkey Wheel being another. They can tell us what purpose they serve, and how long they've been there, but they can never tell us HOW they could exist.
