Very interesting take with one of the reviewers coming from a 3090 and the other a 4090.

Results? Both were happy with the one selling his 3090 and sticking with Arc. With the other moving back to his 4090, but buying an Arc B580 for a secondary PC he uses. Yes, you don't need to buy a $2,000 GPU, if you can get a B580 for close to MSRP, you can get a competent system for $750-800 without needing to dive into used parts.

Can you even find one at a reasonable price these days? The problem with arc cards is you're rolling the dice on older (or even newer) games which might be nearly unplayable due to driver issues. Which was the last game to launch completely broken on arc, MH wilds? Imagine waiting to play and getting that. At this point I'd only use it for a secondary PC. Seeing Intel's troubles, I'm not sure there'll be more GPUs coming.

Yes, there's been consistent drops over the past six or so weeks. It's mainly the US that has the supply issues. In the video one of the people walked into a store and just bought one off a shelf. Of the ones coming out some are in the $250-260 while some are up to $300 with the more expensive staying available.

New releases can always be a crap shoot with any game, but problem with older games were ironed out before Battlemage launched. Intel still has an uphill battle, but setting a $250-300 floor for a midrange card that can do 1440p with some 4K (with upscaling and the like from the video) is great for PC gamers as it doesn't give AMD and NVIDIA the ability to jack up prices however high they want.
