... Which totally sucks because taking that out of context repeatedly is going to ruin it forever..... much like the cake reference, which would still be pretty great if it wasn't beaten to death years ago.

Its even worse than the cake line because its long enough to easily stumble over.
I made a quick reference to it in my 3D modeling class and some other guy chimes in trying to recite the whole thing and failing miserably

I don't care if people think they've been run into the ground, I like memes. Hell, they should even bring back the owls.

I actually just beat the game for the first time about two weeks ago. Absolutely loved it. After I beat it I immediately went back and played through with the dev commentary. If you haven't done so, I suggest it. Very awesome stuff.

I also never understood the "cake is a lie" reference until just recently when I found it in context with the game. It's actually a very chilling message (especially when the eerie music chimes in when you walk into that secret room). I thought the message was more "cool" rather than humorous, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, can't wait for Portal 2 to drop in price.
