So I'm being told the pic with the marks is a fake and that this is the real one, which shows no marks at all.

Can anyone confirm/deny this?

The handball itself might not compare to the rest of it, but how he behaved there was a clear extension of his terrible mentality on a whole. Not only did he have no qualms with breaking the rules, but he was unrepentant, and knowing that his illegal actions resulted in victory after Ghana missed the penalty, he had no problems with celebrating openly. He's a sick, sick man. :(.

I'd hope anyone on my team would have done the same thing.

I think some people just got rich, some betting sites took bets on if Suarez would take a bite out of someone in the World Cup.

edit: Apparently it was betsafe, for 175 times your bet.

Personally, he hasn't learned anything from the past. The only way for his actions to count, I honestly feel Uruguay should be eliminated and Italy allowed to go through. This won't happen I know, but it's a team sport and if you are going to do something so stupid 3 times in your career, a strong example needs to be made.....the entire team can be affected by your actions on the field.

Italy fan huh?

Lifelong ban from the national team and a year ban from professional football would be my punishment of choice.

If you can't play fair, you can't play, bye bye.

Is that photoshop? if your pictures are true the bite mark don't add up. That said he should not have done that.

it's a shop

even if Suarez ended up with just a headbutt it's stupid and uncalled for, but he has a tabloid target on his back so it's not surprising

So is this guy going to face any repercussions? It kind of makes football a farce if scumbags like him get to do whatever they want

If soccer players had any spine they'd punch him square in the fucking jaw the next time he tried this.

Don't try and give me the "oh, but they'll be punished for it!" argument either. This dude just bites people out of the blue and gets away with it, FIFA clearly doesn't care.

As Gary Oldman has said "We've all done it. Let he who has not bitten someone three times throw the first stone."

He's the best striker in the world, probably the best player after Ronaldo and Messi, so I'm ok with Liverpool keeping him. Tremendous prat, of course.

Wait...he bit the guy, and then acted hurt himself?

wow, just wow.

Yeah, he bit him on purpose then tried to act like it was an accident that hurt him as well. Players like him are pure scum, there's no defending that sort of behaviour.

How do they not care?

The first two incidents took place in domestic competitions, not internationally, and he received lengthy bans from the governing bodies of both league.

We have yet to see what action FIFA will take.

He's still playing after repeat offenses. You think Mike Tyson would have been allowed to continue to fight in major events if he bit another dude's ear off after Holyfield?
