Hold on I thought a b&w version of the movie was supposed to come out?
That and the score only version. I want those.

The black & white version was the score-only version.
You're gonna have to wait for some fan somewhere to do it and up it to a torrent or vimeo.
It's already done and has been screened for some people.
http://www.madmaxuniverse.com/mad-m...ase-announced-but-no-black-and-white-version/Has it? Or are you confusing it with Miller's discussing having seen it in black & white as it was being edited and loving that, which is why he started telling interviewers he wanted a version like that on the blu-ray?
I don't think there's a b&w version of Mad Max ready to go. (There probably won't be a sequel announced, either)
Apparently written by Miller in 1997 on a flight across the Pacific (not sure if this was posted already).
whats the source on that?

Is the blu ray coming today at best buy? I just saw a post at Facebook about getting it today!
Mine just shipped and should arrive Monday.Has anyone who preordered the BB steelbook received a shipping notice or anything? Mine is still on "Your order has been received."

Not sure if this is from the blu-ray but here's 4 minutes of raw stunts and footage. No CGI.
holy shit.
October 5th in the UK. :|It seems the Blu-Ray got delayed from September 1st to October 13th over here in The Netherlands. What the hell happened?
that rig crashing into the rock parting was practical? That was the one shot in the film I was sure was CGI, lol
Insane. I love this film more and more.
Wow, the last crash looked awesome in the real thing. Knew the War Rig crashing was real (Miller talked about it), but the Doof Wagon behind it, too is double awesome. The last few frames in the original footage are really impressive, the metal is so close to the camera. Not sure if this is from the blu-ray but here's 4 minutes of raw stunts and footage. No CGI.

what in the fuuuuuuck.
like we were all well aware of how practical the film was but actually seeing it in motion...good lord. has to be one of the most impressive stunt displays on screen of all time. it's a playground for the mad.
i'm amazed they pulled this all off without death or even injury when other films with much lesser setpieces lead to sometimes tragic consequences.
also seeing as there's so much props and vehicles here I hope they save it and loan it out to make a new california love style rap video hahha.

There has never been a better argument for the Academy to give out Oscars for Best Stunt Coordination and/or Best Stunt Team. Holy shit.
