Mad Men - Season 6 - Sundays on AMC

I need to watch that loopy episode with the drugs again and Don going on weird rants. That was amazing.
The most hilarious thing is that AMC uses part of Don's crazy rant from that episode in one of their commercials, as some sort of defining/deep moment.

I laugh every time it comes on.

Good timing. I watched the first half of S6 as it aired, but then for whatever reason just stopped watching. Recently finished up the back half of S6 and ready to roll onto S7.

Although I still think the splitting of final seasons for BB and MM is complete and utter greedy junk.

More from Time Magazine:

- Through Don Draper’s Eyes: A Tour of the Time & Life Building of the 1960s
In anticipation of the Mad Men season 6 premiere on AMC this Sunday night, TIME brings to you a rare insider’s tour of the Time & Life Building in the 1960s—the setting of everyone’s favorite mid-century ad agency, Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce. The Time & Life Building, designed by the Rockefeller family’s architects, Harrison & Abramowitz & Harris, opened in 1959, meaning that Don Draper et al. were some of its earliest (fictional) occupants. Time Inc. magazines like TIME, Fortune, People and Sports Illustrated still call the building home—but it must be said that, six decades later, hardly anything seen there today can match the sleek, ambitious style that defined the place, and the people who worked there, when 1271 Avenue of the Americas first opened its doors.

It's the season 7 premiere and it's not this Sunday, but three Sundays from now.

Well Season 6 debuts on Netflix Sunday which is good because I barely remember anything after The Doorway other than the CGC merger and Don banging a fellow tenant. I also half remember Betty being cool about something, which is rare.

Having just rewatched S6, I think I may have judged it too harshly. It's without question a bit frustrating to watch because it spins so many wheels already well-worn from seasons past, but it's still amazing television.

I recommend anyone who was soured by S6 give it a second chance - just skip the shitty episode where everyone is on drugs!

S4 > S3 > S5 = S1 > S6 > S2

Season 6 is incredible just for the finale alone. It is such a finale that it would be worthy of ending the series with the final scene.

That look at the end...
