I doubt it. Just played a practice half against the Lions for my game tomorrow against Juice and I got my ass handed to me by.... Scotty Vines! 4 TDs and 150 yards in ONE HALF. The game is ridiculous, I tried double teams, zones, man with safety help, nothing could stop that amazing 10 time pro-bowl future hall of famer.

Seriously this game is bullshit, even after a full weekend off. I can't believe you guys are enjoying the game. Multiple times I had two guys on him in that half and they would either not make a play on the ball or they were burned by 4-5 yards.

How do you guys tolerate this ****ing horsecrap?

I helped plenty of others last gen, maybe someone can step up to the bat this time around.

Its less that you need help, because you know how to play madden. You know how to gameplan to stop the run. Its more about execution. Try controlling the safety if you are not doing that already. That helps me alot. The only other thing i could suggest is going into practice mode and just running a shitload of running plays and get to where you can constantly stop the RB for short gains

Edit: Oh. HUGE thing i forgot. If your playing current Gen madden. STOP. I did this last year, it ****ed me over every time

Playing defense on the 360 is alot different then on the last gen. versions. I am finally starting to stop the run. I will AIM you with a few tips.

Yes, yes it's true.........my refurb 360 which I received in early July has just bit the big one. 3 red lights of death FTL. My console was working great til Madden came out, all of the sudden freeze, freeze, freeze. Thank god it broke before the 3 month refurb warranty was up, looks like i'm out of the tournament at the very least if not out of the league. MS customer support is closed right now so I'll have to wait til the morning to see how long it's gonna take this time. Last time I got a 3 day shipping box, this time I better get a free game when they give me my 3rd 360.

I'm not sure where this leaves me as far as getting to pick a team for the league, obvsiouly if I can still participate I definitely want to but I understand if that isn't gonna work. Maybe I'll luck out and still be able to select the Bengals and one of the league vets like FMT could play my league games until my new/refurb 360 arrives?

duce you have to pinch the line and have them stunt inside as well. basically to stop an inside run you have to stack that shit (or take control of a d-lineman yourself and knife in there)

it can be done but you are running the risk that your opponent will run a toss play or bounce it outside. at that point you may give up a TD because there will be no 2nd level to even get to, once the rb is past that initial surge is a free stroll into the endzone!

First time he burned me I had man with safety help up top. It was a deep corner route (surprise surprise) so I couldn't do anything. Second time I was in a zone similar to a cover three, I bumped him at the line, MLB dropped back and I was supposed to have a safety there to no avail, got beat on a slant in. Third time I was just double teaming him, but I kept the safety off the line to stop deep stuff. Burned me on a bomb. I feel I am calling the right plays but the D is just not executing. I don't have an overrated defense like some of you do to help me.
