OK OK OK. I tried All Madden yesterday and WOW has EA dropped the ball. All Pro reminds me of what rookie used to be and All madden reminds me of what all pro / all madden is supposed to be. I'm glad you guys told me to check out all madden because I was taking the game back lol. We already tried taking my friends back that night to walmart but there was just one crazy B@#$& that said we had to exchange for the same game only. Well from there we thought we were a step up on her and said fine but then another lady walked by and said "oh don't forget to open that package before you give it to them." !@$!@ DOH.
But anyway the games awesome now. The routes that weren't being covered in NCAA are covered, the excessive animations for extra yards while running are removed and it's like a whole new game. Special teams is still a little outrageous. We finally figured out how to stop each other from running it back EVERY TIME lol.

evertying cool for these games to be played? anyone having trouble getting ahold of your opponent if your name is above? not to be a nag about it (sorry i haven't looked at every post in detail) but i want it to go over smoothly. only person i am worried about to a higher degree is Shogun as his acct shows him not being on since the 24th, and i haven't seen him on AIM. if he doesn't post in this thread or respond to my pm he's going to be replaced. everyone has a life but it doesn't hurt to check GAF once in a while when you've committed to play in a league

Wrong score for my game Colts/Bengals. I won that game 49-35, you have the score as 45-38. I wish I had a field goal factored in my score, 4th and inches and I went for it instead of kicking the easy 25 yarder and I also missed a 53 yarder short. My kicker went 0 for 1 on the day.

should we just not even worry about doing a league on League Daddy for the first season? and can we not require any stats?
the disconnect rate is so great that I doubt I would want to complete the season if I had to take partial stats every time the game disconnected.
can someone, anyone, offer any insight as to why the online sucks so much? should EA just stop putting it in Madden?

i have played 10-15 games online and have had 1 drop, and that was because of DM and cox cable! admit it dm!
ok heres the thing, outside of the connection problems I had about a week ago most of the games have been trouble free. but what happens if they start to get more frequent?
today I tried to play DJ twice and it dropped us both times. it might have had something to do with EA servers because the next game I tried to create I got a message saying EAs servers were down.
played a game just now against vumpler and it was worry free. if I knew every game was going to be like that I would have no more complaints and would be ready for league play starting now.
Im just hoping I dont have to deal with disconnects every other game because EAs servers are shit or because one particular player cant get connected to me.
if my opponents dont mind Id like to run a game before playing our real game to see if theres gonna be any apparent issues with our connection to each other because id rather waste some time doing that rather than wasting time taking stats every time it disconnects.

i had the issue of being DC'ed then it saying "madden servers down". it has something to do with your xbl clock setting (there are some posts about it in the official thread).
also make sure your router settings/software is correct and up to date
I think the inconsistency with standard "should complete everytime" plays is a joke. I think its outrageous the ~30% CATCH rate on HB screens. I've tried it all, the lob, the seed, the touch, and the lead and it always hits the douche straight in the face and falls on the ground. There are a lot of dumb things about this game but you know what, it truely is about 3x better than any of the other maddens I've ever played. Their getting closer but they always seem to screw something up *sigh*
