Considering how terrible they have been around community communication thus far I wouldn't hold my breath. You're right though, Sony should elaborate on what their plans are for improving the service, especially in the coming months where there will be a LOT more users beating on their service.
Overall Sony PR is very good. It's just with matters such as this. PSN and DriveClub they've been silent on a major issue. It's not like this is a remote problem. This has been an issue for users over the past 2 months. They need to get it together.
