Use headphones. The 3DS speakers are horrible and should never be used for games with great sound production.
I know. I've never been able to find headphones though that are comfortable to wear for prolonged periods of time. Also, being tethered is a bit annoying.I route the sound into some nice headphones. Sounds really good.
While I really really want this, I can't stomach the fact that this will be priced at the same price as a full price new game.
This should be a virtual console release on the 3DS and cost $10 ($20 max)...but it will more likely cost $40.
You never start a dungeon in the middle of a cycle, that's just poor planning. Why do you think all the dungeons have warp points right next to them?
You use one cycle to complete the necessary tasks to open the dungeon, then reset time and warp straight there n
Ocarina really is the perfect intro to the series, so you're making the right choice.Ah, I'm very sorry. I must have misunderstood.
Thank you for the correction.
I see, thank you. It sounds interesting if it is as malleable as you describe! I think I shall see how I find the franchise after having a look at some of the other games, as suggested. Thank you!

...I just had a stunning idea. Using the hi-res art, I just ordered this:
Tesco Photo. It'll be ready for pickup at my local in a couple of days. For reference, this is the last poster I got printed by them:
it's glorious. and it's huge.
I wonder if they will do something like MQ in OoT 3D
very unlikely
How much does printing something like that cost you?
I read it more as: "This should have been released on the virtual console in its original state for $10, $20 at most."A Virtual Console game is a ROM file and an emulator. That isn't what MM3D is.

I was thinking exactly about a mirrored Hero Mode.. Anything else is pretty much impossibleWe will almost assuredly get Hero Mode (increased enemy damage, less pickups).
We will maybe get a mirrored world. I very much doubt we will get anything else.
by your logic, this should be $10 too:
No, by his logic it should be $40.
Cause it's got four games in it.

Maybe VHS is still preferable to a proprietary format on a really small screen.Which is the equivalent of saying The Godfather should never have been released on anything other than VHS.
uh, it says right in the image. £15. No shipping costs, pick up from store.
oh, the top image in your post hadn't loaded when I wrote my post (my internet has been very slow lately). Thanks.
Well by his logic the anniversary halo for the 360 should have been for $10. It's one game, with just updated graphics and nothing else.
Everybody is free to decide their own value on whatever they consider purchasing.
Let's not continue on this tangent.
Uh, umm.. Yes? That's what he said, like literally, just with a different game. I have no idea what your point is lmao
This is yet another reason I would LOVE for there to be a way to play 3DS games on a big screen without requiring a dev kit or taking apart the 3DS. My wife and I love to play Layton games together, but it's really hard to do so when we're both looking at a tiny screen. I really want to play through this for her, but it's just not feasible for her to be looking over my shoulder for such a long game.

Buy on virtual console. Play on TV.
Majora's Mask is darker than most, if not all Zeldas, but I wouldn't call it a DARK game. It's truly a game about hope, imo, which is the opposite of dark. There is a terrible, ominous figure above you at all times, haunting you and the figures of Clock Town, but your job as the player isn't just to save the world, but to provide hope and reason for everyone in it to exist.I like you and we should be friends.
As much as it pains me, MM recent surge of popularity has a lot to do with the game being "dark" and "difficult", and many people praise it to get some gamer cred, but it is a very weird game with an odd mechanic that is not for everyone. Be sure there will be a backlash once this remake is released.
These are great, thank youI cropped myself these 3 wallpapers from the artworks. Uploaded them for anyone else who might be interested in 1920x1080 wallpapers, also non crappy compressing hoster:

I'd love to see the game have three modes, really.
Remaster mode
- Suspend save anywhere
- Save (permanently) at any owl statue
- Song of Time does not automatically save the game, but asks you if you want to save anyway
Original mode
- Suspend save only at owl statues
- Song of Time automatically saves the game
Hero of Time mode
- Link takes double damage
- No suspend saves, not even at owl statues
- Song of Time automatically saves the game
- Inverse Song of Time disabled
- Time does NOT pause when the 3DS is in Sleep Mode or the game is suspended
That should keep everyone happy. Then some basic streamlining like OoT3D had with the Iron Boots and such and the game is good to go. And I'd bet someone will try a three heart challenge of the last one.

thanks, I'll use all three
I love you so much for this. I was just looking for a landscape version of the first image as wallpaper
Used all three, thank you very much
Sad I'm actually waiting and hoping this appears on GAME so I can get it here in Ireland. Would love if anywhere else got it too but isn't going to happen I guess.
It's kind of funny seeing the overwhelmingly positive feelings about MM. When I was a kid, I felt like I was the only one who liked it. Most people I knew hated the time thing and said it wasn't enough like OOT. Now, I still personally prefer OOT by a slight margin, but I definitely loved MM and only liked it more over time.
Then again, it's also seeing a lot of the people who are drooling over MM completely write off SS, despite the fact that the two work in very similar ways. Central town with a lot of quests, "empty" overworld that connects to separate areas with very linear tasks to be done before entering dungeons, etc. In fact, that's one of the reasons I really loved SS: I felt that it took a lot of inspiration from MM in terms of pacing. But they are different, so I get why people are still indifferent towards it.
The other anomaly are people who are huge MM fans that complain about long, tedious beginnings in later games. MM has a pretty long, tedious beginning.
But hey, everyone's entitled to their opinion, and the pace and tone of each game often paints things in different lights for different people.
Skyward Sword I just think is poorly designed and treats the player like an idiot at all times with lots of forced story and dialogue. I'm not into that one.
