A GIRL of seven found the words "F*** off and die" on her Disney computer game.

Beki Stewart pointed out the "naughty word" to dad Mark on the opening credits of Monsters, Inc - based on the hit kids' film.

Mark, 32, had splashed out £200 on the game and two GameBoy machines to play it on for Beki and her brother Jayms, four.

The Disney/Pixar game is aimed at children aged three and over.

Mark said: "I am disgusted. This was their big Christmas present. Beki was playing and said, 'Daddy, there is a swear word.' I said there couldn't be because it was a Monsters, Inc game.

"But she said, 'Daddy, it is the F-word'. She was upset because she did not expect to see it.

"This game is for kids. If it was for adults you might expect such language. But I don't say this word in front of my daughter - and I don't expect Disney games to contain it either."

The phrase was included in the introductory text that runs as the computer game boots up.

Civil servant Mark, of North Shields, North Tyneside, added: "Surely Disney test their games or see what goes out in their name."

Disney was unavailable for comment last night.
If you "have" a warezed Monsters Inc. (U), you'll find that the intro has the comment after a while in the scrolly. You can see the pic at www.video-fenky.com if you don't feel like breaking the law to witness it in action.

:lol

I wonder where he bought the game from. I'm guessing Ebay. They need to crack down on people who sell pirate carts

How about the douchebag reporter who did zero research into the story, except to snap a photo and take a few quotes.

Wow! Games coverage in the UK national press that doesn't amount to games = child killers.

Progress!

What kind of half-ass pirate cart seller leaves the warez group intro on the cart? Gee, wonder if it had a trainer running as well...

Never mind that, what kind of fucko names his kids Beki and Jayms? Are they bootleg versions of kids named Becky and James?

The kind that buys fake GBA carts for his kids, and then is shocked - shocked - when profanity rears its ugly head.

I can't remember, but is it normal to recognize "Fuck" as a swear word at seven?

Oh and this reminds me. There was a news feature last night on local station about those 500 in 1 video game systems with the wierd ass n64 controllers. All it amounted to was "Woman buys broken product from mall vendor, goes to return and vendor has vanished".

LMAO, we had a lady try to return one to our store (Gamestop) saying it did not work.. I said "Those are illegal, you did not buy it here". The mall booth disapeared the week before christmas, everybody who bought a broken one is screwed, serves them right.

There was a kiosk in one of the local malls near me that was selling those things. I considered looking up that Nintendo hotline and reporting them. I should go back now that the holidays are over and see if they're still there. :lol

I saw two of them at MY local mall.

I didn't bother reporting them because I DON'T WORK FOR NINTENDO AND THEY CAN TAKE THEM DOWN THEIR OWN DAMN SELVES. Some of you guys have too much free time + Nintendo luv.

edit: BTW, there was a sign on one of them saying that they could not exchange broken units. lool
