ugh hah

I read his reply/question about her fake tits as being sarcastic which is why I responded like that. If he was being serious... o_O

wait how didn't that dude you just linked me to not get banned :|

Hah, yeah, I figured as much.

Who knows about him though. He was ridiculous.

The artist in me would hate it. Blue and red are really difficult to pair up, I think it's only stuck around since they're pretty much synonymous with the character. The two-tone blue is a much smarter (and visually appealing) way to go in my opinion. Two much red on the costume and we're entering Spider-man territory.

edit - Found this on Google

Yeah, not a fan :/

Eh, the problem is that the bracers are not high enough. Add to the fact that this person colored all the other scaly things red, it becomes to busy.

I think red bracers to go along with the red boots would be pretty cool. They can ditch the crazy designs on the torso and legs.

It's too late homey. Deal with it, or make like a banana and leave this thread.

Nice overall sculpt but the likeness is...eh.

JunkieXL tweeted this not too long ago:
The Last mix of #manofsteel cue was delivered today!!! Onwards with the soundtrack CD and my new film #Paranoia #filmscoring

Mattel is failing hard with the movie master versions compared to the Dark Knight, face wise at least.

Oh well, bring on the hot toy Supes figure which will wipe my bank account clean.

I need to hear this NOW

Listening to that song just reminds me how much I adored Donner's Superman. I'm sure we all wondered, like Lois, whether this majestic figure could also read minds, especially with the way he looked at her; that subtle sure smile. It reminds me of the feeling I had when I saw Robin Williams' Peter Pan silhouette through the fluttering curtains of a window, floating in the air, his hands on his hips, staring back at older Wendy.

Just beautifully emotive moments in both film and imagination. You got the feeling you learnt more about Superman in those moments than any amount of dialogue.

I'm worried we wont see any of that kinda thing in this film

If this movie bombs would that pretty much kill any chance of seeing any DC characters hit the big screen outside of Batman?

Poster is so awesome. Why isn't it June?

I'd imagine so, unless there's a change in ideology at Warner Bros. Their current animated movie strategy -- release nothing but Superman, Batman, and Justice League films -- suggests the higher-ups have no faith in DC's other characters as solo properties. Bombs like Green Lantern and Jonah Hex are likely used to strengthen this view, however myopic WB's standards for these things are.

Which would work out terribly for them, as they likely want to (and should) keep Batman on ice for a couple years. Man of Steel bombing means they got no new summer blockbuster franchise, and they aren't going to feel at all confident moving forward with Justice League (which is looking shaky as is).

That said, "Arrow" and the in development Wonder Woman show means they are more willing to do television projects with their characters. So who knows: that may well becomes DC's domain.

It's fan art, not an official poster. Beautiful nonetheless. Though I wish there were a higher resolution version of it.

Reminds me of the Superman Returns fan art that actually made it into the final film:

WB is terrible at managing these franchise. Other than Batman, it's actually embarrassing how poorly they have utilized their heroes, especially given Marvel's success over the past few years.

and damn Amy Adams is beautiful... she looked great in that interview.

Amy Adams was just on Leno talking about Man of Steel.

She seems to be a genuine fan but came off a bit odd during the interview. Maybe she was just having a bad night, considering how likable and approachable she usually seems. Also, for those doubting her looks... well, just watch.

Watched it and she's gonna be perfect as Lois and she truly loves the character she's playing. Though I'm not sure why you felt she came off as odd and having a bad night in that interview lol She's also aged really well, I find her a lot more attractive now then when she was younger in that episode of Smallville.

"I'm sure we all wondered, like Lois, whether this majestic figure could also read minds"

Nope, sorry lol Love the Donner film, but have never thought that even as a child.

By the end of Superman 2, following the memory wiping smooch and 'S' shield nets, I wasn't quite sure what Superman could or could not do.

So that blue poster above is real right ? If so it's great.

Nope, fan made. Just the beautiful scene from that trailer which happens to make an awesome poster.

lol @ Salvor.Hardin ... I'd like to forget that via memory wipe.

I still think the suit would look much better if the S shield didn't have the same texture as the bodysuit. But getting used to the rest of it now.

Holy shit at that fan art of Supes and Zod looks f-ing awesome. Sure beats the black shiny plastic looking garbage bag Stamp had to wear. Then again he was still able to still pull off bad ass in it... you got to be a brilliant actor to do that.

War on Krypton? if so ... splooge and I swore Ive seen Jor-El use guns before in the comics so I'm not shocked by that at all.

Zod's armor looks like it could be the basis for Lex's suit in a possible sequel. Like MoS ends with Lex getting a hold of that armor and then modifying it.

I can get behind this. End of the movie you see philanthropist Lex cleaning the city up and condeming the acts of the aliens. And then you see a team collecting any remains (kryptonian suits, weapons, DNA, and so on) to a secret lab for further research.

Really hope this isn't the case. Lex has been way overused in the movies, it's time to go other places. He should be a secondary villain at most, or the guy funding/behind the main villain.

I would say he's been misused. Lex is to Superman what Joker is to Batman.

Give him proper treatment, make him a genius scientist/politician/philanthropist and let him be the feature villain in the next film. Of course he could have some help from secondary villains (Metallo?), but you NEED to take on the kryptonian alien vs human arc at least once rather then just introducing a bunch of super powered aliens.

And there has only really been one characterization of Lex in film... Gene Hackman and Kevin Spacey played pretty much the same characters in the Donnerverse and SR films. I don't want some dumb real estate scheme. I want a powerful and menacing Lex Luthor who has government influence and the people's trust.

Overused the same way in the films and in a really shitty way.

what Flash said.
