That kind of money actually can get you almost unlimited dates, provided you have even average social skills. Just don't say anything too stupid, and women will happily let you take them to places and experiences other guys can't afford.
Some guys can't even get that right.

You joke, but I know girls who went on boat dates with guys they'd never consider sleeping with, just because the guys were relatively normal and it was a fun thing to do in the summer.
Being able to do fun things makes you more interesting, but it doesn't necessarily make you more desirable unless you're specifically looking for a gold digger. Unfortunately, some guys treat dating like a transaction where they think inserting X amount of money + effort = automatic consideration for sex.

Having spoken with a few women who have used dating sites (not to mention me and my girlfriend met on one), it's staggering how many messages they receive from guys who just have no fucking clue how to talk to women.
Whether it be outright vulgar comments, or even just guys who contact women with nothing more to say than commenting on the woman's appearance.
Even putting aside how slimy some of these people are, it's amazing how many guys seem to be that dense. How can so many people think that's going to result in any kind of success?
Apparently it's not as prevalent on sites that are exclusively subscription-based. Guys who are paying to use a dating site are far more likely to put in some actual effort and not be cunts.

Ugh. I was this cringeworthy once. Ruined a perfectly good friendship because of that cringe and it changed me for the better. I hope this guy learns his lesson and actually becomes a better person too, rather than pretend to be a better person.

In these positions it doesn't really sound like you're using the nouns 'man' or 'dude' to refer to her. You're using them as pragmatic markers, more like "hey let's go get a drink" or "yo let's go get a drink". A pragmatic marker is a word which doesn't specifically refer to a thing, it doesn't have meaning, it's like a pure bit of grammar, a minor exclamation. In Singapore English they use the pragmatic markers 'la' all the time, like "la, let's go get a drink" or "hey la, what do you want to do wa?"
I can imagine there are plenty of times you do actually say dude in a reference position though B)

When a personal is emotional or "excited," it can make them say silly things. Also, tons of doctors exhibit something called God Complex.
And yes, there are people that think on a higher level than others. I have some friends that are hyper intelligent (not just book smart).

I'd expect a doctor to either say: I think on a higher level than you, or my brain works on a higher level than you. In Dutch a doctor would probably not often say 'the brain thinks'.
I understand; I'm also not a native English speaker. The crux of my argument was that a person's intellect cannot be fully ascertained based on a few text messages.
We can say the man has zero social skills and zero knowledge on how to communicate with women. Beyond that, nothing else can be said (not enough evidence for a full psych report).
