I finally caught up with 7 Seeds last night. I totally agreed with you there. It's fantastic manga with well written story. It helped me to forget all about Cage of Eden for now. I just can't believe that author screwed it up for CoE.

Definitely one of the better Tales adaptions. Much faster paced yet tells the story much better than the game where I felt it was pretty scattered.

New Prince of Tennis 94-95:
So, Byoudouin and Oni are basically gods, then? These guys basically make all of the moves used in Prince of Tennis up to this point look run of the mill by comparison. I mean, we've got powers coming from another dimension and demonic auras now.
Fucking manly ass set of chapters, though. Seeing the backstory between Oni and Byoudouin and them going back and forth was great. After this, I have a hard time imagining Oni losing anytime soon. He's just on a completely different level from every other character in the series.

I'm not even exaggerating, either. Byoudouin starts talking about how he's gained a power from another dimension, and then the ball starts glowing and he hits a shot which manages to crush a wall in. The shockwave alone is enough to cut open Oni's cheek and permanently scar him (this is all in a flashback and he's still scarred two years later). Also, this is all happening inside some sort of cloud that no one else can see because of how crazy their auras are or something. The referee even has to ask the players what's happening and what the score is during the match.
So Oni then retaliates by pulling out some sort of demonic aura that looks like a Kishin or something and just wrecks face.

There's virtually no smut if that's what you're asking. Its intentional that the characters are all unlikable - I don't think the intent is sympathy for the MC at all. They're a bunch of arrogant pretentious asshole teenagers who think they're super special and act like complete idiots as a result. The reason to read it is watching them go down in flames.

It's not like the "normals" are very appealing either. Considering the target audience is adolescents, I think the author intends our sympathies to be more in line with the teenage assholes.

It's a good manga but my friends are so crazy about it that they bought shitload of Natsume related stuff while they were in Japan. I just can't seem to understand why people like it that much.

I really don't know how you see any kind of shoujo in Rosario Vampire 2. Seems more like it was turning into battle shonen.
Which is my problem. Me waiting around hoping it will revert once this storyline is finished is really pretty stupid. I've been in denial for a while.

To be fair, I might have read 2 chapters of RV2 and I'm probably mostly talking about the art shift. In full disclosure, I think Rosario Vampire sucks and I'm 99% sure I probably would think RV2 sucks even worse.

I still can't figure out why I still read Fairy Tail. Maybe its the Super Interesting factor.
Well I continued to enjoy it right up until this current story, and it going on longer and longer really isnt helping my mood.

If the current arc is invading the vampire stronghold or whatever (it's been awhile) then I think that's where I dropped it.

Much more enjoyable than the anime (which I finished watching yesterday). These slow paced slice of comedic life series are better suited to being mangas... is what I'd say if Azumanga Daioh wasn't one of my favourite animes of all time. Still, being able to speed through what would be at least half an episode in a few minutes does make the comparatively dull segments far more bearable. Also weak art doesn't bother me as much as quality animation does.

Yes, well the anime only adapts 36 of the currently 106+ chapters and gets really good after the place where the anime ends. Its a good monthly manga.
