Really depressing way to end the volume. I think the only good thing is Togawa returning to tge team, though disappointed that he lost so badly. He was supposed to be epic. Nomiya being beat up again was painful. I dont see how tokahashis story fits in, if he cant even use the restroom on his own and etc, I wonder if hed be capable of getting to basketball playing status or if he can get psychologically on track as that seems depressing too, assuming his role is to eventually play.

Yeah, it's very appealing in a way. No wonder the TWGOK mangaka had to go back to that as last resort to save that mediocre chapter at the last page. "If everything fails, throw some big titties in it".

I don't know what's more surprising: the sheer number of cameos in that last chapter, Ino of all people making a suggestion that was adopted across the school or Suzume losing in a contest where the prize was food.
Anyway, this continues to be vastly more entertaining than the anime. All sports festivals should be survival games.

Nah it's old enough to get some, especially with how popular it seemed when it first started. What's surprising is their quality. How come all the good artists went to this series of all things?

Good color page as well as additional random sketches (artists sketching with their non dominant hand, I think), though I didnt realize the character age differences were 15 years apart when in that same sketch had them as a 3 yr old and 18 yr old. Heavier on the plot and Jun feeling he wants to mature a bit more but Sakisan like he shouldnt rush and stuff. Jun blush is nice and etc. I think in manga shower scenes > bath scenes, ought to have done a shower one.

It looks like something Togashi would draw if Togashi was as good as Murata, and it was during the latter ant arc.

Loving this Century Soup arc so far. The setting is great, I'm a sucker for cold places in mangas for some reason. That insect dude from the Gourmet Corp is... disgusting to say the least, the way he "throws up" the insects is gross.

Tommyrod was a great antagonist, Bogie too (favorite antagonist not named Starjun). Century Soup had probably one of the top fights in Toriko (at least anime) dont havve the manga volume just yet.

The fighting is cool. They story needs to develop more. Priscilla coughing up the mystery parasite only raises more mysteries, however. What was it and where did it come from? It looked more like strands of Riful's hair than anything.

It was what's left of the destroyer (the fused Rafaela and Luciela). The destroyer tried to take over Priscilla's body from the inside, which would explain why Pris was not at her best so far.

Toriko vs Tommy is a great fight. Shows the villains are an actual threat, which is always good.
I thought of Zeno the second I saw him. The resemblance is uncanny.

Confused on if the aunt and such were thrown out the restaurant for the homosexual declaration or being a jew, odd business practice to throw guests out if a restaurant for both.

Its been painful waiting since August 2012 for the final chapter in this story, but it was worth it and closed it out well. Really intense though glad its kind of a happy end for all involved. Sad departure off to boarding school then running back home to cry goodbye t his guardian.

I like the pun. Usopp also has a more interesting story than Batman. I do wish he was half the psycho that Wayne is, though.
